| TBL is four years old! |

Yesterday (27 June) marked the fourth birthday of TBL!
I think it's quite an achievement that our community is still very buoyant despite the fact that the last EHM was released nearly two years ago. There have been a lot of members of the community that have contributed to keeping this site going. Not only do we have many active posters, we also have many people who have spent a lot of time working on addons (for example Devils88 and Andyjayp's RSL facepack that is being released today). The hard work of these people are the key to keeping this community alive.
Here is a brief update on current and future projects on TBL (and the wider EHM community):
* Lidas is working on a 2008/09 roster update. This is going to update a very wide range of leagues in EHM. He's getting assistance from a fairly large group of researchers who are researching various leagues. The amount of work Lidas is putting into this project is astounding - the final product is going to be well worth the wait.

Due to a decline in site traffic (caused by SI ceasing development on EHM indefinitely), mne2 has decided not to renew his hosting package with his web hosts. This means that after today there will no longer be www.eastside-uk.co.uk. This is really sad news as the site has been in existence since the very beginning of the NHL:EHM series. Mne2's EHM utilities have been possibly the most invaluable contribution to the EHM community - without his editors we would not be able to update and customise the database of the game we all love.
There is good news, however: Mne2 is going to continue developing and supporting his editors and other projects over on the SI Forums. His 2007 Pre-Game and Saved Game Editors are now available on TBL. So it isn't the end of the road for him and his utilities

Sbufkle's has released a sneak preview of his upcoming WHA Mod, which is coming this summer. Rather than the usual screenshots, he's taken the original approach of posting a video preview on Youtube. Watch it here!
His mod includes rosters for all WHA teams as well as AHL and ECHL teams from the 1979/80 season.
