Re: AI GM's are out of their mind! Worst Trade offers

Just traded Vincour for Schenn in the Challenge, got the News Items about my fans loving the steal afterwards. I actually delayed the deal so my Scouts could scout him just to make sure that he hadn't genned into a rubbish player or something because I could hardly believe the trade.

Too Many Penalties

Hey guys, I seem to be taking too many penalties with my tactics. Some teams can exploit this issue more against me than others. Some teams will get 10 PPs in a single game against me while others will get only 3. My agressiveness is only set to normal, I had my Hitting set to high, but set it back ...

Re: AI GM's are out of their mind! Worst Trade offers

Nothing annoys me more than playing a challenge and trying desperately to get a first line player like Carter to the poitn where I offer my best young player, only to see them trade him for a 2nd and a 4th from the first place team.

Re: retirements are idiodic

One on a long list of problems that we would love to see fixed in any new version if we ever get one.

Okay, so I finally finished the regular season on my first season. Antropov tied for 3rd in the league in points with 117 points. Bergfors almost hit 50 goals but kind of got snake-bit at the end of the season. He finished with 48 goals. Boulton had an insane 1053 PIM. Speaking of Boulton, I love m...

That's about where he is in my game at the moment as well 13s-14s across the board. I don't have a single draft pic from those first two drafts playing on my team. I think I have a couple players playing as depth on my farm team, but that's it.

So I had a questionfor all those past the third season or so. does Matt Duchene become easy to obtain? for two season he appeared to be unhappy so I scooped him up for Cody Hodgson (who U picked up on waivers a couple seasons ago) and so far I am very happy with his production. 20pts in 21 games wi...

I was able to trade my great Prospect Klingberg for Jordan Staal, since the Pens were beginning to have Budget issues. I am really happy about this trade since Klingberg is said to have first line potential, but seemed to level out with 12s and 13s in all his stats (his high stats were checking and ...

I just let the rights expire on 5 of my 7 picks in the 08 draft since they were all totally useless players. 19-20 years olds without even 10s in the best attributes.

Third Season has been a disaster, all based on goaltending. My Second Season Trade was for Nabokov, and I hoped he would be my goaltender for a year or two until Pavelec was ready, he retired at 36, which widdled me off, but I hoped Pavelec could carry the team, no luck. At the trade deadline I was ...

Am I the only one who actually likes having Mason? In my game he's leading all goalies with a .896 Avr R. He is 3rd in SvPct, and 10th in GAA. He's been very solid for me. He was solid for me, but I got a chance to trade him for Nabokov, so I did. Of course, Nabokov Retired on me at 36, now I've go...

Well, made my first trade. The Avalanche signed Nabokov from Russia in the first season, but about 30 games into the second season their GM apparently managed to piddle all thier players off and he requested a trade, so Chris Mason is now an Av, and We have our true #1 Goltender, and not a moment to...

I've found that for whatever reason, even if you offer the pending RFA's the required money, you still lose their rights about July 2-3rd. You get a news item that you lost their rights because they were not signed to a contract. It's one of the things that really annoys me about the game because it...

Ended up Signing Aaron Asham for 3 years at 1.2 mil per. He's older, but he's a very good third line RW for my Checking Line.

I tried to trade Peverley for Zherdev, but Philly wasn't interested. They ended up unloading him on the Senators for the prospect that Ottawa picked in the first round. Pittsburg had a horrible season, and I've been trying to pry one of the big three from them, but they won't go one for one, could d...
