Kings / Coyotes

Accepted. We've struggled with injuries come playoff time, and though our speedy Russian friend has some offensive skills, his defensive talents left him unable to play more than a depth role. We think Hesk has a little more two-way jam, and can help out a little more when the going gets tough.

Blues/Yotes

Accepted. I've always kind of liked Donskoi. He'll give us another weapon as we try to retool and compete in one fell swoop.

Yotes / Wings

Reluctantly accepted.

Crouse has been an animal for us but he's looking to get paid and it may not fit our salary structure moving forward. Larkin brings speed - which we like. Pounding the depth button on another young center doesnt hurt. We can either flip the 1st or add to our next wave

NYR - ARI

Grudgingly accepted. We're big fans of Nick Merkley, but he's made it clear that he's pursuing a bigger role moving forward and that isnt likely to happen in the desert. MacEwan could fit a 4th line role for us, while we have time to wait to see if Brockman can try to live up to his status as a high...

Ottawa Arizona

Ottawa receives:
G Korepanov
2025 3rd ARI

Arizona receives:
G Quick

Accepted. We liked Korepanov, but playoff goaltending injuries have been a constant and getting a multiple cup winner as a fallback makes too much sense - especially when cap space is no issue.

Had my other trade fall through. Would like some depth for a playoff run. This corrects a mistake I made in year one... passing on Yamamoto in favour of acquiring Madison Bowey.

Arizona - Boston

Arizona receives: RW Phil "the McDavid-ing Thrill" Kessel Boston receives: W Nikolai Baranov Accepted. The Coyotes have a ton of cap space and are doing well again this season despite losing a third of our roster to free agency. We do still have a lack of finishers in our top 9, enter an old but awe...

FLA / ARI

Needed to find some cap space for any injury coverage. Getting another solid secondary scorer - albeit one a lot smaller. Florida didn't have to do this. A 2nd seems a reasonable return for a slight downgrade

Mikko Rantanen - Arizona

Mikko Rantanen has accepted an offer sheet from the Arizona Coyotes.

The offer is 6 years and worth roughly 27m

If the offer isn't matched, the Avalanche will receive Arizona's 2020 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Colorado has 3 days to make their decision.

Against. I already struggle at times with fielding a full roster with time zone shift and the demands of work and family.

Yotes Draft Recap

Seeing as the Arizona Coyotes are out of draft picks, it seemed an ideal time to look back at what went down and how at the happiest time of the year. #5 (ARI) - Timothy Liljegren - RD (ISS#6) Elated to find Liljegren still on the board when we were going to the podium. Other considerations: Owen Ti...

Mark Stone is 2017's Jere Lehtinen.

If Patrice Bergeron didn't have a stranglehold on the Selke, he'd be it.

Karlsson and Burns obviously underrated.

No Subban is a crime.

OEL and Roman Josi are top notch as well.
