The comment by tsolkway (spelling?) in the challenge discusion thread is containing some interesting ideas for the young upcoming prospects. I agreee with him on the point that the top draftees of the first 2-3 years should get slighter higher attributes and therefor a higher CA, I guess. It's not ...

Just something quick. Why is Nail Yakupov missing from the game? He is a potential top pick in 2012 and is 7th in scoring in the OHL in his rookie season. Honestly, I don't know. I usually make sure the Euros in CHL is made but I must have missed him. There might be other guys missing. I will take ...

I have worked on the Lidas rosters in the past. I can help out with prospects in all the leagues. CA and PA's as well as much more information. I don't have as much time as I have in the past, but I can definitely help you out. Plus I hated that all the big name Russian prospects weren't in the game...

The KHL has 23 teams with rumored talks of expansion to 30 or more teams. There was a dispute with the Elitserien league and teams: HV 71, Linköpings HC, Färjestads BK, Frölunda HC and Djurgårdens IF. It is rumored that after the 2010-11 season, these teams could possibly join a pan-european league....

I definitely agree with you here. Garth Snow as GM needs to go. The Isles owner however, has enough money to support this team in the future. Kovalchuck could help them get the new arena they wanted.

I don't understand his thinking. I know the Isles are not a Cup Contender now, but they are a big market team with the talent for some major growth in the future.

Anyone have any thoughts on Robin Rahm's admitted steriod abuse and his subsequent 2 year suspension? Do you think Farjestad will be able to lure Vesa Toskala back or will they go with Fredrick Holmqvist? Nihlstorp was signed from Rögle, they will probably go with him. Too bad they lost Jonas Gusta...

Mike Modano with the Wings is now official Great signing for them. He will probably play with Hudler as on of his wingers. Once Hudler decides to shoot the puck more, Modano will be a great set-up man. I am definitely looking forward to seeing how many goals they can put up this season with a healt...

Apparently I was wrong. It looks like Nail Yakupov is heading to the Sting for this upcoming season. It looks like they have a pretty impressive Russian duo in Nail and Galchenyuk

I remember when my younger cousin was playing hockey (in the US) as a kid, they weren't allowed to hit or shoot slapshots until a certain age too. I think they wanted to make sure they learned how to protect themselves and also learn the fundamentals before adding those things to their game. Yeah, ...

I know, they actually deleted all the statistics I added for Mikhail Grigorenko and Nail Yakupov even though they were correct stats. Now they have nothing for either player except Nail's MHL stats.

When does the current CBA expire? I wonder if they're going to rework things to do away with the super-long-term deals like Kovalchuk's. Why have a salary cap if it's so easy to skirt it? I'm not pointing a finger at New Jersey specifically because a lot of teams (my Bruins included) are doing it. ...

A lot of people ended up turning around the Oilers with Hall and Svensson. We had a whole bunch of people bomb in season 1 and draft Hall. We'll have to look at the teams once the regular season start and once Lidas makes a new DB. We should be able to find a good NHL team to use in that one and Li...
