No, the problem is the dates you write yourself.ppaalloo wrote:I have problem with that I can from my leagues transfer players to other teams in other leagues without date problems but when I bring players with other leagues or free agents then editor give me error list with 1/2/1900 dates but in original spreadsheet I have 1.2.1900 dates fot these players
yes I thought soNo, the problem is the dates you write yourself.
where can I find it? that picture with these optionsChange the format of the date columns to "Text". That should stop them appearing as dates. You can then use Find & Replace to replace all "/" with ".".
I'm not sure how it helps you.archibalduk wrote:Can you post an example screenshot of this? It might help me reproduce the issue and then get a fix in the Editor.Manimal wrote:For example, I had some issues in a schedule file I sent Archi the other day and he could not see the error but I could.
By seeing the precise format of the text, I can programme the Editor to correctly interpret and process it. It also helps me to see which spreadsheet and column you're referring to.Manimal wrote:I'm not sure how it helps you.archibalduk wrote:Can you post an example screenshot of this? When I wrote 15 Sep it turned into 2015-09-01
If I write 15 Oct then it is fine as we use the abbreviation of Okt in swedish.
All other months turned into dates, so I reckon it has to do with the cell formats
They should be already. Can you post a screenshot of an example please?xECK29x wrote:Got one feature request and a possible bug for you Archi.
Can you please sort any blank entries (such as a player, city, club etc) as ([None]) always at the top? I find this is not uniform across these screens and can lead to unneeded blank entries, small thing I know.
Are you exporting using xlsx? Exporting large amounts of data with xlsx is a known issue. Use csv and it'll be fine.xECK29x wrote:This DB (https://www.dropbox.com/s/zuw6q54mmv7h9 ... se.db?dl=0) is crashing when exporting the model or exporting all players/non-players, might be a bug. I was looking for all players across the DB linked to a specific city I was going to remove and had to correct some outstanding records. I was able to get to what I needed by creating an export filter only on players/non-players from the United States.
Has anyone else had this issue? It's starting to become really burdensome to keep on top of, luckily I am almost done creating teams for a while.xECK29x wrote:Archi,
Seems I found a big bug in the editor, whenever I create a new junior team with my current DB is it overwriting a national junior team (stating with the letter Z and working it's way backwards). Not sure why it's doing this but I can provide the DB and it's pretty easy to re-produce. PM me and I can work with you directly.
Never stumbled upon that during all my years of editingxECK29x wrote:Has anyone else had this issue? It's starting to become really burdensome to keep on top of, luckily I am almost done creating teams for a while.xECK29x wrote:Archi,

Not sure I understand what you are looking for, but you can filter by job for club and club contracted.Primis wrote:Archi I know you are eventually planning to make Staff accessible from the Team info (ie, can see who's signed with that team). That'll honestly be great.
Is there any chance of eventually adding Staff filters though so you could filter staff by Team, Nationality, etc?
So are you just creating a new club, setting them to junior and that's it? I'll try and replicate it here to see what is happening.xECK29x wrote:Archi,

As Manimal mentioned, there is an orange filter button in the bottom left hand corner of most editing screens. On the staff screen you can filter by club, nationality, etc. If you are referring to something else then do let me know.Primis wrote:Archi I know you are eventually planning to make Staff accessible from the Team info (ie, can see who's signed with that team). So... I was really confused at this. There's been a grayed-out FIlter icon in the lower-left forever but never an orange one. And I've been downloading and updating versions all along.archibalduk wrote:As Manimal mentioned, there is an orange filter button in the bottom left hand corner of most editing screens. Thanks! I'm in the midst of revamping roster management in the Editor at the moment (in order to allow player and non-player editing via the Clubs screens) - so I'll take a look as soon as I have completed this. I should be able to track the issue pretty easily. The game requires the national teams to be placed as the final entries in the database. It sounds like newly created teams, in certain circumstances, are either ending up at the end of the table or have a National Team flag. I'll let you know.xECK29x wrote:Looks like creating any new club, not sure if it is something with junior/national U20 records having issues. I'll know it happens because a GUI bug appears shortly after saving. You won't see it instantly after creating the club and saving, what will happen is when I go to assign staff to the club I'll see the name of the club change in the selection box to Zaire U20 or Zimbabwe or some other nation, that is how I know it occurred. When I look up the nation I saw in the selection box usually the city, arena, and reputation info of the club I created will overwrite the country, and make it a junior team. After a long editing session creating clubs I have to figure out what national team was overwritten and manually correct the changes via the tip you gave me in the other thread. Sometimes it will bug out for teams I created weeks ago, it's pretty weird.
Happy to do a Zoom meeting or something to show you in person, just PM me. I should be able to reproduce it pretty easily.
Haha!Primis wrote:So... I was really confused at this. There's been a grayed-out FIlter icon in the lower-left forever but never an orange one. I finally figured out the problem. When I've extracted the last few versions they didn't overwrite but put them in a new subfolder, I was still using one form last September. Ooops. So I haven't actually been using the newer versions.
My bad. Fixed. I'm an idiot who doesn't pay attention. I now see the filters, whoooooo! Very excited, it will greatly simplify things.
I agree/this sounds great!archibalduk wrote:I think it would be handy if everything could be editable from this screen (with some buttons to show just certain categories of data - e.g. one button will display just contract data, another will show goalie attributes, etc). There will also be something similar for the non-players as well.
