Players.ehm masking tool for Eastside Hockey Manager Freeware by by Richard Hildebrand. This program will allow for online leagues to form with masked potential numbers or even player attributes in a sort of wizard mode.
Put the file into the save folder with players.ehm. Run the file, and after completed, copy players.ehm (and the .asc files, if you are going to run any spreadsheets, otherwise delete them) to another directory. Rename either players.wis or players.cln to players.ehm. Make sure that the .asc files and the backup files are not in your save folder when you forward it to your league, or they can still access the masked information!
Scouting reports will be based on the default numbers (50 con, 5# pot), and will therefore be useless.
Version 0.1: Completed 12/28/03. Split Players.ehm into nine .asc files in order to run database queries to check potential and con changes. Programmed in C++ but definitely not optimized.
Version 0.2: Completed 1/17/04. Updated code to fix minor errors in the output. Kept underlying code structure.
Version 1.0: Released 1/18/04Updated code to have output of masked and wizard files, and consolidated .asc output files into just two.
Rewrite code to make use of OOP features in C++ to optimize performance.
Write a GUI editor to allow for easier editing of player files, including the options to mask and wizard mode as run-time decisions.
Rewrite input/output so the file won't have to be run from the save folder.
Complete a similar version for staff members.
