You never made any of those trades in the first screen and you never went on vacation? When you look at the players involved, are they actually traded?

In the second screenshot, are those players you've signed or traded for? What happens when you do a search for them?

If you'd like to re-start, I think it might be a good idea. Just shoot Archi a PM and ask him to reset any stats you've already uploaded.

The players, listed in the trades, do not appear in the game at all....

Those from the second screenshot, got meshed up with some of the bruins prospects (which are fair game) but the rest, I can't click on/find ni the game.

I can show you via Skype if you will :)

Although starting over may be the best route, save for the time wasted so far :)

Done with preaseason in season 4 and the team is set. Made a few trades, first i sent Alexander Khokhlachev to Sharks for RD Jacob Nordqvist and a 5th rounder, immidiatly send Nordqvist down to Providence. After that i sent Troy Timpano to Coyotes for Wes Boak who will make the starting lineup. As it stands now this is my team for season 4.

Max Jones - Patrick Khodorenko - Mika Zibanejad
Clayton Keller - Logan Brown - Zachary Senyshyn
Vitaly Novikov - Ryan Spooner - David Pastrnak
Adrian Kempe - Eemeli Visuri - Wes Boak
Anton Blidh

Jakub Zboril - Justin Faulk
Aslan Volkov - Dante Fabbro
Brady Skjei - Calen Addison

Closest to getting called up are Oliver Kylington, Ryan Stephens, Jake Debrusk and Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson.

I will try to play a very attacking style this season, we'll see how that works.

It must have something to do with the I/O issue being patched. I tried to load two different saves from the challenge and both locked up my computer when the loading screen comes up. My guess is that Riz made some kind of "force to load anyway" as a work around, causing my computer to crash and your game to have faulty data.

I know it's a pain but I think both of you that had the I/O issues should start over. :dunno:

I am not sure I got the motivation to start over, I am a slow player. I will try a couple of other saves.

I finally found a working save from just after the last reporting. Nothing looks out of the ordinary so I will try it out.

Probably doesn't matter though since we won't be anywhere near the cap in many seasons.

Welp, Washington won the cup for the 3rd time in a row. Last year they were 16-0-0 and this year they're 16-0-2. http://i.imgur.com/LDbc962.png They need to re-sign Ovie and Niskanen this year but they are a dynasty and Edmonton made the SCF twice in a row. I'm scared of them

The I-O error just hit me. Is it okay to go back to a end of quarter 2 (last stats) backup? (if it doesn't break of course)

So season finally ended and I got bored already in February and frankly stopped caring. Nothing I did tactically or with the lineup even slightly altered the results, it is like I even don't even coach.

Dead last by a margin and almost the worst GM out of all participants, again.

Marchand is the top offensive man with 25-25-50
Best D and most assists on the team was Klefbom at 1-29-30
Biggest surprise Matej Stransky at 48 12-18-30
Biggest disappointments Krug, Beleskey, Khokhlachev.

National team players atm
Sweden: Janmark
Czech: Stransky
USA: Krug
Canada: Murray
Russia: Khokhlachev
Finland: Kemppainen

Only Stransky deserves it.

I made the mistake of saving after the error popped up last night. (Didn't think it through). Just patched it today.

First season is in the books for me ! Finished with a record of 26-43-13, finishing dead last in the East. Surpisingly, only two teams finished with less than .500 in Eastern conference :P Oilers won the cup vs Tampa with a 16-1 record, only loss in final.

Surprises on my team : D.Larkin (52pts), D.Pastrnak(50pts), V.Kamenev(49pts), T.Krug(45 pts), M.Subban(All rookie team)
Deceptions : B.Marchand(34pts) and A.Khokhlachev(19pts)

Only trade this offseason was Beleskey vs 2nd and 3rd pick of Penguins
Obviously, I lost the Draft Lottery, drafted 3rd overall
Draft : M.Kovac, J.Oettinger, N.Kneen, and some others

My projected lineup for next year goes like this :

Marchand-Larkin-Pastrnak
Kamenev-Jarnkrok-Hayes
Khokhlachev-Phillips-Senyshyn*
Griffith-Spooner-Connolly
Krug-Morrow
Cross-Miller
Zboril*-Trotman

Saros*
Subban Alterning
* goes for rookies

My top 10 prospects goes like this :
Saros(trade)
Senyshyn(2015 draft)
Fabbro(15th in 2016)
Zboril(2015)
Kovac(3rd in 2017)
Oettinger(31st in 2017)
McLeod(30th in 2016)
Phillips(2012)
Ahola(105th in 2016)
Visuri(75th in 2016)
Andersson(121st in 2017)
Saigeon(52nd in 2016)

Finally, for the "Where are they now" section
Krejci(36pts), Rask(10-10-4), Eriksson(33pts) are in NAS
Chara(13pts) is in Calgary
Bergeron(44pts) traded him in Detroit who traded him in New Jersey in off season)
McQuaid(8pts) and Seidenberg(5pts) are with Detroit.

So the drafting done. I won the lottery for once so I expected some good pics.

#1 Nolan Patrick - I was even more hyped on Kovac but went with the top rank anyway.
#31 Kristian Vesalainen - I need a defensive powerforward, that extra space in the name bums me out.
#91 Josh Brook - A really mature young offensive D that my scouts love.
#121 Pirkka Lyytinen - Flashy two-way C with 8 good KHL games.
#151 Aslan Volkov - Offensive D who cant defend but goot impressive MHL stats.
#181 Morris Richter - My scouts are all over the place on this big C from the Swiss top league. Nice stats though.

I somehow dont believe in my prospect ranking. Someone is drunk at work!

Edit:
Jurco went UFA despite being qualified!? :help:

Got him back but at a really expensive deal compared to what he asked as an RFA. I am 100% sure it said qualified before his contract ran out.

Asher413 wrote:Half of the first season down. My biggest challenges with hidden attributes are filtering who to scout (so many are 3 stars its hard to do a lot with that), and assigning PK guys. (Which is showing with my terrible PK).

We're in the fight, with some top end stuff going well (Ratenen is 5th in the league in points, Vasilevskiy is doing pretty well considering his defense, and Spooner is already past the scouts projections for points.). Landeskog was out for 9 games, but I do have 4 guys at a point a game or better. Krug is down for most of the year, leaving me with Morrow and... well... um... bodies on the blueline. Skutar (a late 22 year old pick) played well while filling in, so he'll probably get a shot near the end of the year.

Current lines:
Landeskog- Spooner- Rantanen
Marchand Khokhlachev-Randell (3rd in rookie scoring)
Rinaldo-Kemppainen-Connolly
Beleskey-Phillips-Hayes

Morrow- C. Miller
Irwin-K.Miller
Cross-Trotman

Vasilevskiy
Subban

Hopefully we can either stay in this playoff race, or start sucking for Patrick :)
I pick my Pk players after the Defence attribute, i want em to have at least an A in that, also i try make them have agressivness and speed and size. good luck.

My prospected lineup for the second season looks stronger on paper at least.

Subban
Domingue

I cant really blame my goalies for much last season, they werent good but not bad either. I thought about getting Fitzpatrick in there and trade one goalie, but my scouts only give him two stars current ability so I guess he wont be ready yet.

Klefbom - Krug
Murray - Zboril
Davidson - Johns
Trotman

Klefbom was a good offensive dynamo so he keeps his spot. Krug really needs to pick it up or he wont be here next year.
Murray and Zboril should be a borderline nr 1 pairing.
Davidson and Johns is my physical stay at home pairing.

I will run with four pretty equal balanced lines.

Marchand - Spooner - Sprong
Yakupov - Patrick - Pastrnak
Jurco - Khokhlachev - Stransky
Galiev/Janmark/Griffith/Hayes/Connolly

It will be really interesting if the playmaker Spooner and the tough guy in Marchand will benefit from the new speedster Sprong. My staff loves Sprong but his history is sparse.
Patrick will have his share of work to balance up the all-offence guys in Yakupov and Pastrnak. I feel sorry for him but it is one good spot he can excel in if he is ready.
Lets see if Khokhlachev can stop going to the penalty box all the time surrounded by two more two-way oriented guys on his side.
Fourth line is questionable and consists of five two-way guys that underperformed last year. I hope Janmark can find his 30 point Dallas.

Yup. Just make sure to let Archi know if you need stats reset or anything.
