Top Performers- WEST(finally)

Post by Nesan14 » Tue Oct 03, 2017 8:36 am

The top performers from each team in the West.

Predators - Kevin Fiala (60P in 56GP) Many would think Forsberg is the top performer on the Preds but if you take a close look you'll see than Fiala is having himself a better year, not only did he tie his career high in goals in 26 less games and is only 10 points away from matching his career high in points (both set last year) he is doing it playing on the 2nd line with a weaker C and LW. Fiala is getting a payday and Michal has found himself another star winger.

Oilers - Connor McDavid (72P in 56GP) This is the easiest one in the West as McDavid is the clog that makes the Oilers tick. He is money from anywhere on the ice and can turn anyone into a 50p player and he only has a cap hit of 6m!. McJesus is just getting started.

BlackHawks - Patrick Kane (86P in 58GP)- Chicago may run on Duncan but the Hawks run on Kane and he is proving that yet again with another monster year. Kane keeps the hawks chances of winning a cup alive each season. He is worth every cent of that 10.5m cap hit.

Flames - Sean Monahan (60P in 53GP) Most of the gms wrote the Flames off when Rask went down 5 games into the season but they forgot the Flames have one of the best young cores in the league. Monahan is on pace to have a career year and is proving that he can lead a team that started Parsons/Johnson for 54 games into the playoffs.

Sharks - Anze Kopitar (66P in 56GP) Kings took a hit with Jones going down for a while but they can rest easy knowing that Kopitars offense is not going anyway. In his first year as a King he is showing that the Caps should of kept him and is playing with a chip on his shoulder.

Stars- Tyler Seguin(89P in 55GP) Jesus McDavid-ing Christ. Dallas come get your mans. Seguin was on a contract year and he is PREFORMING. He is carrying the Stars offense on his back and he is not slowing down at all. Its scarier to think he is only 27..

Yotes - Max Domi (61 in 56) Arizona is a team filled with young talent up and down their lineup. It was hard finding a top performer until you lay your eyes on Max Domi. Domi is having himself quite the season as he is closing in on career high in goals, assists and points. I would not wanna be any of the Western teams in a few years and have to deal with the Yotes in their prime.

Canucks - Sven Bartchi (69P in 56GP) On a team with Nico Hischer, Jake Virtanen and Bo Horvart you'd think one of those 3 would be the top performer... well its the dark horse that is Sven Bartchi. Vic seems to love turning above average wingers into gold. Bartchi is closing in on his career high in goals and will only improve.

Ducks - Jakob Sliverberg(55P in 58GP) Ducks have been injury plagued all season long but one of their most consistent players has been Sliverberg who is playing for some extra dollars on his new contract at the end of the season. He is doing all he can to will the Ducks to the playoffs. Quack Quack boys.

Avalanche- Gabrial Landeskog (55P in 57GP) The Avs fall in the same class as the Ducks. They've been hit with some injuries of their own and are trying to fight back to the playoffs. Landeskog is tied for the team lead in points while playing on the 2nd line with an aging C and a mid 6 winger. He is the heart of the Avalanche's playoff hopes.

Blues - Vladimir Tarasenko(57P in 61GP) The Blues are pretty much out of the playoff race but Vladdy Daddy is putting on a show for the fans each night. He is proving that he is still one of the best goal scorers in the league.

Kings- Tyler Toffoli (65P in 54GP) Kings may be missing the playoffs but King Tyler is not missing a beat. He is well over PPG and is going to have a career year. That contract is looking better and better each time he steps on the ice.

Jets - Patrick Laine(67P in 59GP) Laine>Matthews and its being shown this year. Laine wants as big of a payday as he can. Jets have fallen off from their contender ship this year as Matt wants to retool but Laine is playing like its Game 7 of the Finals.Scary to think he is only 20.

Wild- Joel Eriksson ek(40P in 41GP) Well there isn't a lot of good things anyone can say about the Wild this year BUT there is a lot of good things to say about Joel Eriksson Ek. He has taken over duties as the #1 C for the Wild and he is not letting them down as he is near PPG pace on the world defensive team in the league. He may be the fuel the Wild needs to get back into the hunt for Stanley in the near future.
