EHM The Blue Line

Not sure if it is a bug, or that Crosby has retired to play for Team Canada, but why isn't he called up for the national team? I didn't qualify for the play-off, so that's not the problem. He has not have any injury and has 100% fitness. Other player from my team did get a call to play for Team Canada (Fleury, Dumba).

It's not the first time, but the last year Crosby had a minor injury, so I could understand it.

Anybody else not getting messages that a scout is finished their assignment? Sometimes it seems I do but many time if I check my scouts half of them are sitting ide doing nothing as they have finished their job. I rarely had this happen in EHM07 so I don't think it's me missing a news item as I read them all.

Player of the month is still busted. Guys quite often win the award that only played 4 or 5 games.

Hello, i just joined and want to report this bug i found. I play Dinamo Riga in KHL and most of my team is away with national teams for this game. It also happened in fourth game in the finals. This game would be moved in real life right? Dinamo has to have minimum 7 latvian players on roster so this is a catastrophe.

It has to do with scheduling so maybe this problem is known already, but here it is anyway.

Olympic qualification in that screenshot, now i am in finals and their playing World championships division1 group stage.

I have the same. Maybe he's retired in db?

Had not thought of this....I had a couple times where my scouts became unassigned and I did not NOTICE that I got a message about them. I may have, I may not have. I will pay more attention to this.


And the Crosby thing is realistic in some ways...Often some of Canada's (and now Sweden and USA) players say no to World Championship. The GM of that team would get a notice saying he did not want to play. He was likely invited but turned it down. Happens a fair bit. I Know for example I managed a Canadian team at Spengler Cup one year, and tried to get NHL and AHL guys who were younger studs to play...and they would not. But I know I did World Champ one time as well and guys said no to me.

No friendly matches (pre-season) were scheduled by any team in season three. I arranged a few myself, but not by any other team.

Good I am glad. Much rather set my own exhibition schedule. So that the guys do not play a game at camp and then have an ex game that night. You should have to arrange all your games for this as every team in real life does. No league sets ex schedules for teams.

In my game Winnipeg and Buffalo both fire their coach in November. WHen they hire new ones at end of the month and into December they both hire guys who are absolutely totally and utterly unqualified to be NHL Coaches. This is a problem, as there is no way those teams will develop any players with the idiots they have running the show.

Really needs to have looked at what determines who AI teams hire as personnel.

Urgh.. fix this, please.
Atm this game is pretty much unplayable for me..

Got a financial problem with my ECHL team which is keeping me from re-signing anyone. I have a balance of $1,010,692, League cap is 366,000, my player budget is 366,000, my players salary is 227,000 but it says I have 367,000 towards cap. Either transfer funds are counting toward the cap or personnel salaries but neither add up right and they shouldn't anyway I don't think.
edit: I figured out what it is doing and it shouldn't be that way I'm pretty sure. It's counting salaries for the guys that are loaned to me by affiliated teams. Pretty much makes playing the echl a negative thing even if only to develop players for my NHL team

Don't know if it's by design or a bug, but after the SC finals when the transfer window opens again the total salary the AI teams use to judge whether they can get a player or not is not the total salary for next season but for the current one. Usually a few players have been injured and thus there is a lot of cap room. I knew by adding up my team would be above the cap, so I offloaded Dupuis and Kunitz to Kings and Ducks. After 1st of July both were put on the block since their teams where way above the cap (Kings at 78 million lol!).

It should be easily fixable by setting the salary total after the SC final to next seasons total for example.

Probably a known issue: when being involved in long negotiations over a trade with multiple teams all of the GM end up having the same attitude. Meaning, once the 1st one gets to "either offer or go away" point all of the consecutive GMS say the same, even if I haven't even started negotiating with them.

I think it's a problem of KHL scheduling for the oly qual part, and KHL teams shouldn't have their players skating in the WC div. 1, if they're competing in the playoffs. Can you post this bug here: http://community.sigames.com/showthread ... ated-stuff

Make sure you have it set to $ and not £

Because it is archi's game.

Assume its known - if you try to offer a player a new contract, when you try to offer a second player a new contract it goes back to the first player's contract screen. Hitting the scroll arrows at the top (ie the ones right above the player name) gets me the following error and the game crashes

I think there is something off about the stats tracking in games. After I finished a game against Toronto that we lost 0-1, ALL Toronto AND Florida players had a +/- of zero...which makes no sense. I didn't pay much attention to anything else there (and haven't really payed enough attention to stats at all so far after games). But the game after we beat Arizona 6-3 and I just noticed Ekblad was a -2. Not too odd in itself but he had 2 points (1G1A) which makes him +2, even if he was on for all the Arizona goals it should still show -1.

Which led to another strange thing when I checked the Arizona goalie stats for shots. According to the stats their backup saved all 12 shots he was faced with. Problem is he came on after Smith let in the 6th, which was the 3rd shot in the 3rd period...we had 13 shots that period which should make Hackett's saves to 10. Could not find a goalie switch in the 1st or 2nd period according to the play-by-play. However the shots total against both goalies match up with shots by us in the stats so Hackett got credited for 2 extra saves made by Smith.

I observed this issue as well. I have mine set so that the board arranges pre-season games but none were arranged.
