2nd-3rd line potential, Like Wayne Simmonds. So nothing special. I did trade them the Twins and Alex Burrows so they were over the cap and started jettisoning players. Green walked, Orpik was traded, and OV too. but they could have dealt other players and/or gotten a king's ransom for OV. All Ovechkin would have cost me was Nail Yakupov and Demko Thatcher.

Demko would have been a high price my friend. That one is a star! I have him in the Canuck challenge. In 2015-16 he is the top goalie in the AHL, in his rookie season. His glove and blocker are up to 16 each already in January. He is going to make two of Lack Markanen and Eriksson available in only his 2nd year in pro hockey. HE is a stud. As for Nate Murphy? Well....kid has one great shot, and is a tough aggressive dude. He will make a difference in a few years.

Also....when we totally mess with the other team salary cap through trade like that....I am not sure we can expect the AI to react realistically...when the trade we made was completely unrealistic in the first place. No way no how is the Canuck challenge realistic if you make deals that put teams over the cap.

So for the sake of RIz and EHM EA, there is no way that we should be using examples from the Canuck challenge, or any challenge for that matter to show how silly the AI is. BEcause we are being silly as well.

Yeah that's my thinking, Sedins both my $7 and Burrows is a 4.5M cap hit so I made it hell for them, but there were other ways they could have gotten under the cap and for whatever reason them putting OV on the block must have made him only a 3-star trade.

Yep, but the AI would not want to move 5 players and end up with only a few decent ones under contract.

There were two line brawls in the 3rd. Both goalies got tossed from both teams. Seems like the Blues were awarded a 5-0 technical win, even though they also "ran out of players".

I have seen that one time. IN EHM 2007. THat is a cool screenshot. They won because they were winning at the time of the forfeit by both teams. Great stuff. How many guys on berserk/encouraged did you have? Goalies?

It was AI vs AI.

Well, in real life such a goalkeeper duo would probably not perform either. There would be always at least one feeling like he does not get to play enough games.

Little bit of healthy competition is good for the soul.
I split it pretty evenly the past two years as no standout performer. I'm not sure that is really factored into the game though and I'm glad I do have a good backup as if he sucked I'd be getting killed every week.
They face far fewer shots in most games and concede an average amount of goals. Somehow their stats seem to be reasonable though? On the other hand when teams play me they often save 50+ shots.
