I wouldn't even mention it if I knew how to use the pre-game editor: I think the Flames' Sam Bennett's aggression of 50 should be ~65 (or 13 + using standard ranges). His hitting could be 5-10 points higher, too (using the 1-100 range system).
As I understand it, mental stats don't really change according to a player's potential, but I could be wrong. If they do, then the 50 aggression probably isn't an issue.

Also, Robbie Fabbri doesn't have LW as one of his primary positions (isn't listed at all).

Great job with the rosters, though. I'm looking forward to the next update that includes the recent flurry of trades, eg. Jones for Johansen et al.

There will not be such an update. We held a poll and the majority wanted start-of-season rosters.

Great job on the rosters, but one thing I noticed is when I played with the Montreal Canadiens, I got faced with a reserve list notification of 52 contracted players when NHL wants it down to 50 contracted players, is it a mistake, or a bug? becuase manimal said, "start-of-season rosters"??

Ah, good to know. Thanks for all the hard work, regardless.

I'm not familiar any more with the RFA rules, but I can see his Player Stats in the v8.1 DB correctly show he has 7 NHL seasons. As I understand it, he is now eligible to be a UFA as he has the minimum 7 NHL seasons. That's correct isn't it? In which case, I wonder if this is something for running by Riz.
Stamkos is an upcoming UFA in my save with the latest (8.1) rosters.
Weird, also in my game he's an impending RFA. But then again I'm not sure if there isn't something wrong with my installation as I seem to be having some trouble with the history entries too.
RFA in my game too, always was UFA in earlier versions here...is it the Steam Workshop Version maybe thats causing this ?

Yes

For database editing, you edit an EHM07 database using EHM07 editing tools, and then import the database into the new EHM.
PreGame Editor http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=6745
EHM Updater http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 10&t=11154

And for editing (some things in) a saved game from the new EHM, there's the EHM:EA Assistant http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=350
These edits will only apply to that individual saved game, and not the database

And for the questions that you're bound to have, most (if not all) have already been asked/answered already, and you'll find the answers in TBL's "Data Editing Forum" http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... .php?f=110

Hi everyone,

So, today I finally bought the game, but I've had my fair share of problems uploading your rosters. If someone could help me out, that'd be great. My problem is that when I go to Import Database, I have a lack of options. I click the Recalculate Runtime Data box. And then, I "Please select a database to import" followed by a "Database" and then a "Location". With no way to actually put stuff there. And then at the bottom, there's a "Cancel" option but no "OK" option.

Thanks!

What does that have to do with the roster updating?
Make a proper search next time you have a question

Ah. I wasn't sure. I saw the Canadian place of birth and wikipedia has him as having played for Canada in World Juniors, so I figured something was amiss.

I don't have a lot of saves, but I feel like Crosby seems to have too many PIMs (when the AI coaches him). He has 66 in 71 games the first season, 56 in 79 in the second, and is already up to 41 PIM in 19 games in the 3rd. Only one 5 minute, the rest were all 2's.

After Larkin recently won the speed competition during the All Star weekend, I'm sure it would be a good idea to change his ratings in acceleration and speed, which are 13 or 14.

Yours shows 71.5?
The transfer_rule_config file in 8.1 shows as 71.4
And I just checked in our online league using 8.1 and it shows 71.4 too

There is a screen that list it as 71.5, too
Maybe it was the trade screen? I can't remember

Mitch Marner

Didn't know where to put this....

Why is Mitch Marner a complete piece of rubbish? Drafted 4th OVA, and players drafted in the 5th round are WAY better than Marner.

He is scouted as a 3 star future player, when he used to be "like Patrick Kane" in the 7.4 update.... Now in the 8.1 update, he is utter garbage. He isn't even a top 15 prospect. The guy the Leafs drafted in the 5th round is MILES ahead of Marner to start.

Just naff trying to be the Leafs, without Marner...... That's either our 1st, or 2nd best prospect, and this game has made him the Clarkson of the game.

I guess I should point out, when I say top 15 prospect......... I mean on the Leafs alone.... he isn't even top 15 on the Leafs....

He has variable PA. Sometimes he becomes a star sometimes doesn't.

That's cool and all.... but a scrub? a guy that will never crack the NHL? what are the odds of that in real life.... basically zero.

We start the game this year, in September.... 2 months after the draft. How do 5th rounders start with better stats over Marner? It makes no sense.

Ah, yes. Those are from the old game, where it would cause errors with too long contracts. Seems I forgot to change them
