ROFL, I wasn't done negotiating, but it was funny. What do I know though? Doug Armstrong doesn't need "future franchise player". Haha. Good stuff.

First time you have seen that? Cause it is a glitch in the game. It was spoken about oh, say 100 times the day after the game came out over a year and a half ago. :-D

This is sort of a nostalgia pic. My Red Wings vs the Hurricanes is the Cup Finals. It went to a Game Seven OT, where I won, :joy: . Lidstrom, ironically again, was the Conn Smythe winner. :-D

Heh. That's actually the situation with the South East Division in real life too. Caps is first in the division, while Carolina, trailing only one point, is way under the playoff line in the Eastern Conference.

cool because my Yotes finally got the cup after like 30 years of nothing.

Ha! Go Yotes! Let's call Wayne to be a little patient :-D

Beside that, i really enjoyed the Canada dominant 23-1 win over Hungary. Suckers, they got what do they deserve for tyrannizing our small country in the past! And the 26-25 shootout game is sick.

Anyone else get this before? All twelve on the ice at the same time? My Canucks forfeited the game afterwards due to (I quote from the game) "running out of players," probably because I only had 12 to start with.

2 games in one day. The players must be tired...

Yeah, that happens from time to time. Although I've never seen it with league games, only exhibitions. Good thing it doesn't seem to mess up the players condition too much.

I've never seen that before :-o The funniest thing is that one of those games is at home while the other is on the road... The bus driver must be pretty fast! :D

Can't say I have a screenshot of this, as it happened in the midst of other news

But

Over the course of 2 days in September 2008, the following happened:

-Detroit placed Danny Syvret on waivers. New Jersey picked him up.
-New Jersey placed Danny Syvret on waivers. Detroit picked him up.
-Detroit placed Danny Syvret on waivers. New Jersey picked him up.
-New Jersey placed Danny Syvret on waivers. Detroit picked him up.

Made a claim four times, never got him. Made me chuckle though.

So who is your goalie, gibson? Also, when is this screenshot taken? Was it regular season or pre-season? It's good but not the best I've ever seen.

it is nitty O:)

and yes it is pre-season, i really think those pre season results are strange...

I haven't payed much attention to how the AI play their pre-season games in the NHL, but what I've noticed in Finnish SM-liiga, is that they tend to put mostly young players on the ice, and leave those who will most definately get their spot in the team, out of pre-season game line-ups. So if you like to have your best line on, while the puter has their farm / youth players, then obviously you're going to kick their behind big time.

No those preseason game results are pretty normal for me. Every season with my Hawks challenge team I have at least one 11-1 win, and often another where I score 7 or 8 goals. Tis routine to kick teams butts in pre season.

And BTW Tasku..with my team it happens when I only use one line of my good players too. Either 1st or 2nd line. :-D But yeah, I am too darn good at this game. 8-)

Ah, but to my knowledge, some AI teams use *no* 1st or 2nd line players at all, their players are all farmers or fourth line, ya know?

Yeah, sometimes they even use naff players who would not even make the CHL/UHL but have gotten a try-out at the NHL club because SI for some reason decided that the NHL teams AI's should hold open training camps ](*,)

Oh yeah I know. In the first 1 or 2 games..they rarely do. And I usually win those games 4-1...cause neither do I. :-D God I even lost one in my recent season to Montreal. Ugh.
