EHM The Blue Line

Looks like the file is corrupt either at downloading it from the site or while Unrarring it. Try downloading it again and if it still won't work, make sure you have the latest version of WinRAR.

I tried downloading and installing the unfaked database available at the Uk site.
Unfortunately, I got the error:

Fatal

v3.0.4 select_leagues_screen.cpp 85

I saw the same error over at one of the hockey boards - someone posted that, "This happened after installing the unfaking patch 2.6. Knowing me, I probably installed it wrong. I replaced the files in that zip with the files in the data folder?"

Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Where can I get a good copy of the unfaked database on Blue Line?

One last question, after re-installing the game because of the above issue. I noticed in preferences on the opening page that it states "Preferences - EHM 2007 v3.0 (purchased)" - does this mean that I haven't correctly installed 3.04?

You'll most-likely get better help with the unfaking by going to Eastside-UK, since most of it's creators are mainly there. And the unfaking isn't hosted here at TBL, due to a lack of certain important info concerning the projects exact contents.

As for your last question: Yes, that means you only have version 3.0 installed. When you update to 3.0.4 it should then say "...v3.0.4 (purchased)" ...which I very highly recommend, by the way.

I second B. Stinson on this one. You'll have better luck finding unfaking info from the people who did the unfaking.

Also, I noticed you already have one thread going in the General Chat section concerning errors you're getting with the unfaking. In the future, please don't start a new topic when one is not needed. I'm going to lock this thread for now - if you have any other questions about the unfaking, please post them in your original thread in General Chat.

I've moved this over to the Games Addons Forum as it's question about an addon for EHM.

This most often happens if the download is corrupt, or if you use a rar-program other than WinRar.

As for the other question about the error - you should install the unfaking to the database folder, but in its own "Updated Unfaking" folder (like it is in the rar-file). Then, when starting a new game, you will get the option to choose which database to use. You can then choose the updated unfaking. The error seems like it is caused by placing the files instead of the original database.

If this doesn't work, try the eastside uk forums. Kidhander or mne2 will probably be able to help.

How can I unfake all names, but not update the roster. I have update a lot of transfers, but now I see that all names in Schweiz is fake. I have download the unfake, but when I install it all my work is gone, and I will not do the same work again

Can someone help me?

Your work wasn't showing because the game can only use one database per created game. Which means, the game can only use either your database, or the unfaking; not a mix of both. If you want your previous database(with the transfers) to have real names, you'll have to do that yourself... unfortunately.

If you have a bit of patience, Devils88 (one of our core user) is actullay working on an unfake database that changes only the names (ie no attribute changes, no bugs, etc)

And that unfake changes not the transfers I have made on my database? (:

Your custom database is a separate database from any other database. You can only run one database for each game. So you cannot start a new game and have both the transfers from your database and the unfake by Devils88 - you can only choose one of those. The only way would be to edit Devils88's unfake database and make all of your transfers again.

Also, the TBL-DB (Devils88's "unfake" database) will not affect any of your saved games. You will have to start a new game to see the changes.
