Is this a brand new save, or have you been playing it already without problems? And are you using an edited database?

v3.0.4 uk_challenge.cpp 1074
v3.0.4 usa_echl.cpp 72

i really want to start the game, but these errors are preventing me from starting the game with these leagues!
also when i try to start a game another warning appears saying i'm missing the russian superleague index. AND no matter what database i try putting onto the game, the same one is always loads
this is really starting to annoy me, it used to work on my computer, and then all of a sudden it stopped letting me start new games, and now i'm having the same problems on my laptop
any help greatly appreciated

Dear Heyes160/Fyldegoalie39,
You are encountering these errors because you are attempting to run a pirate/cracked version of the game. We do not appreciate banned users attempting to circumvent bans by using a proxy and an alias account.

I wil explain quickly, but when I load my game, I got an Error Message who said " v.3.0.4 league.cpp 7740 ".
It's the first time that I receive this Error, and well, I don't use the Editor

Have you made any modification to the game at all or installed any addons relating to database updates?

Did it originally work on your computer? If so, have you since changed any hardware or virus scanner/firewall?
CPP errors are normally caused through modification of the database, using a cracked exe, a background process (e.g. virus scanner, firewall, etc) and sometimes even a change in hardware.
You could try disabling any virus scanner or firewall to see if that makes a difference. If not, I suggest you reinstall the game and try running it before installing the official 3.0.4 patch. If it works, then try installing the 3.0.4 patch and see if it continues to work after installing this.

Yeah, originally it was worked.
Because of EHM is no longer on sale, I found a Cracked Version on Google for the game. So, it's could be the problem ?

Yes. This could be the problem.
Your save might just be jacked up. Did you use a downloaded database? Not all are tested thoroughly.

I understand your dilemma. It really sucks that EHM is no longer on sale.
However, our site does not condone the use of pirate software or cracks. I cannot offer you any support with this. Please do not continue to discuss the cracked version on TBL.
All I can suggest is that you try and pick up a cheap copy of EHM 2005. I know you can buy the CD version cheaply online.

I'm getting this error on start-up: "usa_nhl.cpp 76"
I've been editing the database, this is what I've done:
Took all Canadian teams from the NHL and put them in the Austrian League. Replaced those NHL teams with newly created teams.
It also says "Brandon_Wheat_Kings.index not found" on start-up, but doesn't crash.
Any idea? I've checked, and double checked, and triple checked, and there are five teams in each division. The only thing I can think of is that the new teams don't have arenas (and there are no players on the newly created rosters). Originally I had them playing in random arenas (since it's such a darn hassle to navigate the arena drop down menu), but then I just decided to clear the arenas since it didn't tell me that it was required when I hit "confirm".
Anyways, any idea what's going on?

I'm not sure what that means (but someone else might!)

Hmmm...did you delete/overwrite the Brandon Wheat Kings? Move them from the WHL?
ExxonPirate wrote:Took all Canadian teams from the NHL and put them in the Austrian League. Replaced those NHL teams with newly created teams.
In my years of editing it's team editing I've HATED the most! HaHa
I usually make 1 "team change" at a time, working on a copy each time (in case something goes wrong), and after each time I always test to ensure the game loads up/advances OK.
In my experience EHM can be very "finicky" - with my 1974 database I ultimately never could move the Ottawa Senators (even trying to move them to another Division caused a crash). I really do hate team editing myself...I would be wotking more on a planned 1994 database, but setting up the teams is a task I've just not been into doing HaHa
Good luck!

Thanks for the speedy reply. I figured it out; I always jump the gun on posting. Seems like the problem was that the new NHL teams didn't have any staff or players. I added a couple to each and everything's good now.
