I don't believe there'll be a draft. I think Arch will simply add us to the game to whatever junior team we picked(or make us a FA if we didn't pick a team), and then let it all unfold.
Though, that doesn't mean your player won't be in a draft. I'm sure many of us are hoping to see their player make the Entry Draft when he's eligible.

Yep. We will start with our midget team or whatever team we pick that we are eligible for at age 14. I believe we are all 14...so if your birthdate is before Sep 1...your NHL draft will be 2010...as you are 18 by league start. For those like me, born after that date it will be 2011 I believe.
of course, you will have to get good enough in those 4 years of development to be drafted. Some may not be, as potential is random.

That's me! A friend of mine is on this board and created a guy. He said I should, too, and like a lemming I followed. Plus, I've only been a hockey fan for a couple years so anything that helps me learn the game more I'm all for. I figure this will give me some insight into how players develop in the real world.
