I can also confirm that it IS possible to buy the game at this moment. As someone already mentioned in this topic earlier, you have to type the date that your credit card expires manually as the last year in the list is 2010. I also had to download some msvcr71.dll files as I was unable to start the game without them. If you get error regarding these files, just google it and download them. Guess it has something to do with me having Windows 7 and this being such an old (but yet so awesome) game.

Mod note: You're completely correct about the dll file - here's more info: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... f=3&t=8700 - Archi

I did change the Credit Card information to the correct date. Could it be because I used a 50 Dollar Pre-Paid Visa/Mastercard (can't remember which one) may the total be more than that? This game means a lot to me and I would love to have it if at all possible! Please help me guys!

Have you tried purchasing it since we announced that it is on sale again? If so, what is the problem you have since encountered?

This could be a dumb question but where can you download EHM? I can't find the download anywhere and it seems like the EHM site doesn't work anymore?

Here: http://download.cnet.com/NHL-Eastside-H ... 86872.html

The demo might trip up your antivirus scanner. I think it is related to online activation/licensing system (some virus scanners seem to think it is spyware).

You can then click on the Purchase or Activate buttons to convert the demo into the full version. Once you have installed it you will most likely also need to install the final v3.0.4 patch: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =82&t=6627

I no longer know how to find anything on this forum ](*,)
I don't know how to apply the patch & I don't know how to update the rosters (after downloading them)
I tried to open it and got 10000 pop ups about how I can't load image ___

it being EHM. I click on the icon on my desktop and I get a million pop ups saying:

IMAGE_BASE::add_image() - could not load image ehm_default\progress\full_left.png

Then it'll say full_right, full_middle, etc.

This probably belongs in a separate thread (I'll split this into its own thread in the near future).

It sounds like the game didn't install properly and is missing files. Go to your installation folder (the place where you installed EHM and then navigate to the following folder):

NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\skins\ehm_default\progress (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Sports Interactive\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\skins\ehm_default\progress)

Can you see full_right.png in that folder?

It sounds like the best course of action would be to uninstall EHM and reinstall it. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, you may want to use the 'Run as Admin' option when running the installation exe. Also use 'Run as Admin' when running the 3.0.4 patch. If that doesn't work, try installing to a different location (e.g. C:\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\).

Here's how to use the 'Run as Admin' option:

When I go to :
NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\skins\ehm_default\progress

The only folder is titled "in game"

Okay I got on EHM fine after re-installing. I'm pretty sure this happened to me a couple years ago when I first got the game. This new site layout is throwing me off big time. I can't figure out how to update rosters and have no idea where to go to find out ](*,) I remember their being a guide for that type of stuff but I can't figure this new layout out at all.

The layout isn't all that different... :dunno:

The site can be searched by using the search box at the very top of the screen (under the 'The Blue Line' header text). Downloads can be found by clicking on the Downloads link in the header image. Then you'll find that these are the latest rosters: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =77&t=8690

I have them downloaded. I don't know how to put it into the game. There used to be a ton of guides on the main page of the blue line, I don't see any at all anymore

I guess I didn't say that on this forum after all lol

The installation instructions are in the readme.txt file included with the rosters (look in the zip file).

All of the guides can now be found on our wiki: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/inde ... l:AllPages

Ugh when did this get so complicated? Didn't you just have to move the folder before? I'm trying to download all those things from the thread linked in the readme and none of them will download ](*,)

It's not complicated. Database goes into the database folder. That's it.

As Tasku said, it's not complex at all. You just extract the zip file to your database folder. You can either use the CSD Patch version, or if that's too difficult then just use the alternative non-patched 2006 rosters.

I think you might be making it harder than it needs to be...

Seems to me this game is no longer on sale. When you have the demo and click on purchase via website, the game takes you to Sports Interactive website, with no link or other way to purchase the game. I have also sent e-mails to them with no return, so it seems it is once again not available to be purchased.

I was also able to purchase the game now thru buy on desktop with a prepaid Visa Card, which is very cool, although unfortunate at having to pay brand new price for such an old game, but thanks to the people on this site who contribute so much, it was still worth it to me to buy it at that 34.99 price.

I want to get back into this game. I originally purchased the game for Mac via eSellerate back in Dec. of 06. Is it possible to use that original purchase to get an eLicense for PC? I run XP on my Mac, so I'd be able to run the PC version, but I don't want to have to re-buy the game (if that's even possible), and I refuse to acquire it illegally. I have 05 on CD-Rom, so I could always play that, but I preferred 07. Any thoughts or tips?
