Good recovery from our heartbreaking 1999-2000 season. Finished 51-20-11(2nd in the conference, Toronto was #1)

Highlights from the season
- Team hit a BIG slump in early March, dropping 7 straight(Including 8-2 Loss to TOR and 6-3 Loss to DAL), resulting in Lindros and Kolzig getting Official Warnings. Kolzig took it, Lindros cried about it), but that turned us around as we finished 11-2(Whooped NYI 9-4, NYR 8-2, and OTT 7-1).
- Simon Gagne was amazing in his rookie year, tying with LeClair for 37 goals. Jan Hlavac added 25 in his "rookie" campaign.
- Visnovsky set the Flyers record for points(73) with Desjardin right on his tail(70)
- We had 6 20+ goal scorers(Gagne, LeClair, Hlavac, Lindros, Sanderson, and Marleau)

- Jets finished 9-69-4
- San Jose led by Jeff Friesen-Peter Forsberg-Jaromir Jagr line and Dominik Hasek in goal, swept the West(DAL, COL, PHX), while the Flyers beat NYR(4-2), WSH(4-1) and TOR(4-0)

Game 2: PHI Wins 4-1(Johan Hecht had 2 Goals)
Game 3: SJ Wins 5-4 in 3OT(Marco Sturm scored, Flyers came back from 3-1 in the 2nd)
Game 4: SJ Wins 3-2(Forsberg scored the GWG with under 10 minutes)
Game 5: PHI Wins 4-3 in 2OT(Simon Gagne nets the winner)
Game 6: PHI WINS 5-2 to WIN THE STANLEY CUP(SJ Led 2-1 at the end of the 1st, Flyers would score 2 goals at 48:13 and 50:35 to take the lead and added two empty netters)
