If I haven't heard it, it's a new joke to me. Fortunately, laughter is my best medicine.

I don't want to see them trade Lucic. I might not make him untouchable but it would take an awful lot for me to give him up. I'm a little reluctant to see them trade for Kovalchuk. I think signing him would handcuff them. I've read reports saying that Atlanta had offered him a 10 year $85M deal and he turned it down. So how do you incorporate him onto a team with a couple highly paid players already (like Chara to start) without ditching most of your depth? You're forced to become a 1 line team. That's not working out so well for Atlanta.Danny wrote: They are easily the most boring team in the league. And it's not because they don't score goals...it's because they're lazy. No passion, no desire, accepting defeat, no aggression whatsoever blahblah. It's painful to watch. And do they ever win a game without Savard ? He'd be the best Bruin on the ice if he was in a wheelchair...
I don't want any big rental trades, this team is going nowhere this season anyway. But there shouldn't be any untouchables if we're talking about trading for a signed Kovi...and I'd rather trade 10 Lucics before I consider trading Rask.
One more thing...I can't stand Dave Lewis behind the bench anymore...what ? He's been gone for years ? Didn't notice.

That's strange... I think that KHL's Vityaz Chekhov would have been perfect team for himphilou21 wrote:I've read a really stupid rumor about Laraque been approach by some Swedish team. Is this a bad joke?? What will a 5 km/h skater will do in the swedish league........non-sense.
And as the story went, I can only assume Kukkonen saw his estranged wife, skated off to centre ice, and proceeded to put on a striptease before being handed the KHL championship.Jypfan92 wrote:That's strange... Lasse Kukkonen was only one who didn't get game misconduct for fighting.
I've been laughing at this all morning!:-DThe Hutch wrote:And as the story went, I can only assume Kukkonen saw his estranged wife, skated off to centre ice, and proceeded to put on a striptease before being handed the KHL championship.
Sure. Then again, they've got 8m tied up in Ryder and that other guy who keeps falling down all the time.bruins72 wrote: They are easily the I'm a little reluctant to see them trade for Kovalchuk. I think signing him would handcuff them.
I'm guessing the team is question is AIK.philou21 wrote:I've read a really stupid rumor about Laraque been approach by some Swedish team. Is this a bad joke?? What will a 5 km/h skater will do in the swedish league........non-sense.

The club and the fans like him after his spell there during the lock-out.
He said he'll play for living expenses and he would still get payed by the Habs. Won't happen though as the Canadiens don't want to waive him(they are afraid someone will pick him up, I guess)Jypfan92 wrote:Sounds weird that Laraque has said that he will play for FREE![]()
But maybe he knows that no-one want to pay for his plays![]()
Really, every professional player, even minor league players gets money for their games.
Think the situatio: If i play in Suomi-Division with 1000€/year, i will be proud about that by saying that i earn more than player, who has experience for about 700 NHL-games.
But Ryder only has 1 more year left on his deal and then they can ditch him. If Atlanta would take Ryder and Wideman in a deal for Kovalchuk, I'd be all for it. Otherwise, Kovalchuk's new salary would handcuff this team (if they managed to re-sign him).Danny wrote:Sure. The Thrashers will never take Ryder and Wideman for Kovalchuk! Give them TO's pick. Kovy's worth it. You'll find another way of shedding salary. Ditch Thomas, start Rask. There's a load saved already. I think Lucic is overpayed too.bruins72 wrote:But Ryder only has 1 more year left on his deal and then they can ditch him.
