I would like to join the research team. I am from Canada and follow the NHL religiously. I am also decently knowledgeable about the AHL and less so about the North American minor leagues. I would love to help

. My discord is Ruban (#9536)

Hi, I stupidly posted on General Discussion asking who makes roster updates before finding this thread
](./images/smilies/wallbash.gif)
and to be honest idek how the contribution process works. But that being said I'm still going to shamelessly ask to help if you believe that I could useful.
I've been playing EHM for three years and
have over 260 seasons simulated on NHL teams (honestly don't know if that means anything). I've messed around with saves and db's quite a bit here and there, with the most notable edits being
this rather large players and staff update to better reflect the current NHL and
this thing for funsies. In my experience, two of the bigger annoyances that I've gone in to correct have been the abysmal Sv%'s and the extraordinary amount of underrated prospects
(I recognize that the Sv%'s probably have more to do with in game mechanics and will be harder to fix, on the other hand I think I could really help with updating a few underrated prospects/players). I've used both EHM Editor and Assistant but I have a relatively limited experience with using excel to edit. The most I've done in that regard is exporting and importing changes that I've made in EHM Editor.
Outside of EHM, I've closely followed the NHL for over a decade and passively followed many other renowned leagues over the past few years (CHL, AHL, KHL, SHL, etc.). I'd like to believe I know most of the ins-and-outs about the Pens and Leafs but I think I'm relatively informed about every NHL team. I mostly follow hockey personalities, Sportsnet/TSN reporters, and couple of scouts on social media to stay up to date.
So yeah, hmu if you feel like a Canadian no-lifer could be of help (:

Many team rosters team are out of date. There are also many players they are still part of the team and in real life they retired a long time ago.

Hi, I'm interested in being a researcher. I'm mostly interested in researching youth prospects in the United States and Canada, though I'd be interested to dig into other avenues if the need is there. I live in Minnesota and follow high school here, and college hockey extensively, as well as the NHL. I don't follow too much of other leagues, but can expand my reach.
I've only recently downloaded the editor to try to poke around with the 1998/99 database. I understand how it works. I do have extensive work experience with various database systems and a lot of experience with Excel\Calc\Google Sheets. I'm not as knowledgeable about hockey as I was say, ten years ago, but I'm a stats hound, and would like to start getting back up to speed. I played EHM freeware extensively, but I've just finally got EHM 1.

Are you still looking for researchers? I'm based in Scotland and follow the EIHL closely if that's of any help to you? I also do my own graphics updates

I don't know how the contribution process works but I'd be happy to help out however I can.
I'm all over online leagues so you can probably find me in one of those discord servers.

Hey guys,
are you still looking for researchers? I live in Germany and am very interested in statistics. I could do some player and team history stuff if needed and could also help with getting rosters in shape. I have very little knowledge about the database but I'm said to have a high adaptability to new tasks. I'd prefer not to do rating as I don't have any clue how to do it properly
If there is still some help needed, feel free to contact me

Feel free to shoot me a msg.
I currently watch OHL, and it's draft pool leagues. GTHL, US T1, SCTA, Alliance, ETA, and some NOHL, in the Minor Midget/Bantam age groups (currently 03-04)
Im not familiar with editing aspect, but can pass on loads of information about the players.

No it is not abandoned, just very, very delayed.
At the moment we do not have time to add new researchers but we'll remember you
