Injury proneness: In the game, yes, but to make the point allocation system work they changed that for this competition. Here one is the most injury prone and twenty the least, in the gameit's the opposite. So if you enter "8" as your injury proneness, you'll get twelve points in the final db.

Dirtyness: Yup, exactly.

Actually, here 1 is the least injury prone and 20 is the most but we had the formula count it the opposite. For example, if your injury prone rating is "8", we took "12" of your Physical Attributes points for that. Does that make sense?

That injury proneness thing was bound to cause confusion and problems. I always wondered why the game deviated from the "higher is better" rule on this lone attribute. It could have just been named Avoiding Injuries and 20 would be best instead of worst, but you guys handled the problem well with the spreadsheet.

I'll start adding you all in tonight, it may take me a day or two due to numbers!

It's a bit late to express this concern, but it had slipped my mind during the server downtime and just popped into my head now. It appears most people are creating 13/14-year-olds with NHL-average height and weight, while players at that age should be much smaller - needing time to grow to adequate size. For the sake of realism and balance, I'm concerned that a good number of these players will become monsters and the NHL will stacked with guys the size of Chara and Boogaard by 2012. As a test, I entered my player into a new game and he began at 5'11" 170 lbs. and grew to 6'5" 198 lbs. by age 20. While that amount of growth (especially height) is probably high-end, if we have 13-year-olds pushing 6'3" 220 lbs, what will they become as adults?

I realize not much can be done about it now, but maybe Calv can subtract a few centimetres and kilogrammes from some players when entering them into the database.

A good point blindearth. When I put myself (Hey I and myself in the same sentence---oops twice) in I actually put in what my height would be as an adult. Never even thought about it.

I've run two of these now and you'd be surprised how unlikely it is for a 14 year old to grow or gain weight in EHM 2007.
