Are NHL squad # changes going to be in the release? Because if not, I could compile a list.

Little question: If i play with the Colorado Avalanche and my affiliate are two ECHL teams (i know, it's impossible to put the Lake Erie Monsters ine the AHL) is my prospect have less chance to hit the NHL because of this?

In general in the ECHL prospects don't develop as good as in the AHL but if you would
run an affiliate yourself, hire good coaches and give your players some good practice it shouldn't be a problem. :work:

Icetime would be more important than in the AHL, too. Just give both affiliates some talent to play on the first line so that they can learn to dominate at this level. But don't let your prospects too long in this league. As soon as they are top of the league give them a try in the NHL.

Also if a prospect is underperforming in the ECHL but you feel there is talent, just let him play in the NHL on one of your bottom lines for about 7 games with one enforcer on his line to protect him. After that perios when you send him down to your affiliate give him lots of icetime and he should be very happy and perfom better. :joy:

The only thing I can suggest would be the updating of many young players. I think the 2008 draftee players need big time boost and also other young players on every team.

I can't wait till the next version, I really enjoyed version 1.

I've done a lot of work on the upcoming draft for the next version. If there are any specific players you feel should be updated, please post your suggestions here.

thanks for the god job lidas!
you should look over player positions, and some future stars have bad attributes.
for example vermette is a lw/c or c/lw not rw/c/lw

I have updated Vermette's positions, do you have some other info or sources I could use?

chara is a ld/rd
eminger rd/ld
downie rw/c
lehtinen rw/lw
is a few more.

check out this site http://www.sportsline.com/nhl

and then click on depth chart. position for forwards are accurate but some defenders are wrong.
then the attributes for brassard, versteeg, wheeler and a few more rookies need to be better.

Also need to remember that in EHM it is also a "capable" of playing a position, not a "does" play this position. IE Vermette has played RW on occasion, has played C and has played LW...he is somewhat capable of all 3, although 1 is natural and LW may be more accomplished. He may be capable of RW, and is..just not as steadily as the other 2.

Sorry, I changed them all manually, and if you want to change them back, it needs to be done manually.

If you are indeed adding the pens arena as a future arena, it was announced today that it will be named Consol Energy Center.

"The Penguins today announced that Consol Energy has signed a 21-year deal for naming rights to the team's new arena, scheduled to open in 2010.

The building will be known as the Consol Energy Center."

Thanks. I will add the arena move. / Lidas

Mo, i think it is just a matter of adding in the research obtained from others into the database. Lidas did say before Christmas, but with developments happening daily, and always finding new ways to update the database (i.e. relationships, new arenas), might just have to be patient on this one.
