LOL! Nope... not at all! I can't say the same for some of the groupies we met on the road though.

Rara Avis books first ever show!

April 13th at the Happy Hour club in NYC, for a hopefully not disastrous ticket price of $111 US. The band will hit the stage at 22:00 popo time.

The trio have been hard at work honing their craft both in jam sessions and studying up at the famous New York University. True to name, the band has an eclectic approach to their songs, blasting out indie rock, skatepunk, shoegaze, and anything else that the band's members draw inspiration from. Tentative songs include "Aquaduct and Cover", "The Crystal Cracked", "Rash From The Road Most Travelled", and Marshall Shapiro's personal favourite "Lucky Charms (Blue Diamond Phillips)".

We're top ~150 Punk band in the game and we sell our tickets at $7 US.

You'll be lucky to sell a single seat for $111! Try lowering your prices to something like $4 or $6.

Has everyone seen the introduction of the "Star Count" at the bottom of the list of your skills (on your Priorities and Skills page). I think that's a nice little addition. Mine's 24

Did you abandon your Bunny? That's just evil! But then again, a pet bunny isn't very punk.

=D> I loved that one! That was the opera-like one, wasn't it?

BTW, did you see the sales for our latest single? :toast: :ohyeah:

We sold more copies of this one in the first week than we have sold total for our last single! I'm waiting to see the jump we'll make in the rankings after this one.

We rock!

Spear and Magic Helmet!!! (audio)

Gotta love Looney Tunes. :joy:

Anyhow, back on topic if you get skilled enough in Basic Illusion you can pull a rabbit out of a hat, literally. So any time you see "I watched in awe as ____ pulled a rabbit out of a hat!" there is a free rabbit if you want it in items. But keep in kind the cost in mood for releasing pets is like 36% As for rabbits being punk rock April's Emmie is a punk rock rabbit, she's wearing a spiked collar ;)

But has April dyed the rabbit red or given it a mohawk? Maybe a just a color stripe?

Yeah I am definetly going to look into the ticket prices, I wasn't the one who booked the show so I was pretty bug eyed when I first saw the show info.

April is anti animal testing so Emmie retains her natural black fur 8-) You can tell she's punk rock by the way she twitches her nose though... seriously... I mean look at the bones!! The bones!!! [/Python]

As for ticket prices yeah, 2 or 3 dollars for your first say 6-8 shows is the way to go. Message the contact person for the club, the ticket prices default to whatever the club has their price set to. PITH uses $100 but I then change most of them to 2-4 bux.

It depends on fame in the city too. We had Billy No Talent play PITH for the last competition show and they sold out their 10k ticket limit at our then top price of $75 in like a week. It was pretty insane. The more fame you get in a city it really effects your drawing power. When we played places for the second time with TDG on our latest tour we sold double the tickets at the same prices at those cities.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The World Research Institute has come up with a vaccine for a strain of Clymidia. You can buy it at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC for $700.

I dont know what the heck is going on. But I think this is one of the new 'rules' for the new popo world. I was hospitalized for 2 days and in that period I did not, I repeat, did NOT work on my music even once! I've set my priority to compose music alright, but in the past few days I've accomplished nothing except rest and rest.

Is it just me or is this one of them new changes? It sucks. :thdn:

i'm guessing it's some sort of penalty for getting your character in such bad shape, I suggest setting him to fraternize and rest at your flat for a few days to get his health & mood up to a good level. I try to keep both of mine over 80% at all times. Now I can improve my skill and my mood doesn't drop at all. If you've got enough money I find that going shopping helps your mood loads

I hadn't heard anything of this as a change but people have been making far too frequent stops in the hospitals so I think this could have been added to get people to focus on staying out of the hospital instead. Speaking of that, no offence, but I saw that you had like 15 and 17% in each and you set yourself to busking :-? Why would you choose the only thing we know hurts both mood and health, in return for a few bucks when you're is such rough shape?

I'm not sure if you can really complain about being in the hospital :dunno:

You're right Minty, I can't and won't complain about being in the hospital. I was complaining about the lack of useful updates on my character. Yesterday, I was already out of the hospital, and all I've got was ONE update about me resting and composing music. Can you believe this? Just one update! Check out the ridiculousness below,

Heh... it ain't easy running a site :-p

Something silly here in Popo but they have added something to the 'Users' charts and that is 'most bookmarked blogs' :tiptap:

So I ask everyone to click through to April's blog from her character page and there is a link there that says 'Create Bookmark'. Click it!! :-D also I ask those of you coming to London to bookmark the blog of Megan Malins (who owns Mackenzie's Punk Sandpit in Nashville where we play) as she's leading the chart ;)

Great! Now we've got to add another city to our tour before we can complete our World Tour. At the rate they're going, who knows if we'll ever get to complete it!
