Oh Nikolai...

I also read a similar article about Anaheim Duck prospect Logan MacMillan. He was caught DUI, without a license and underage drinking or something like that.

Read it to, that's the kind of thing a guy who play in the NHL doesn't need. :-D

HE is out for the season, so many teams let their guys go where they want. Plus it is Olympic break...not many players not playing are in their team's city. I know alot of the Nucks went to Hawaii. Anyway...does it really surprise anyone that Khabi would have this happen to him?

Cam Janssen as been suspended 5 games by the NHL for something that happen......February 13. It's about time! Couldn't be more slow than this!

Ottawa senators are looking at Kubina, Sutton and Aaron Ward from the Caronlina Hurricanes. : )

Could have sworn Kubina was in Atlanta, and Sutton on Long Island. But okay. They can look at them. Could have even watched Kubina play for another team recently. :-D

OH hey...Sharks are looking at Crosby, Ovechkin and Malkin. But if I were Wilson I would much rather look at the Swedish, Danish and CAnadian women's curling teams

Haha funny. I know that is just a rumour, but it could amount to something. Chicago is also looking for a new goalie. Sources said it could be Turco, Vokuon(which would be stupid on florida's part) or Jaroslav Halak(also probably not gunna happen). They have Huet who they could trade and with a 5.625 hit against the cap, trading him and some draft picks could bring in a good #1 goaltender.

They don't need a new #1 goalie... They already have Antti Niemi 8-)

Antti Niemi is good, but he is young.

He has no experience. And if Hawks will play in playoffs, they need goalie with more playoff experience.

Panthers and Penguins made trade, where Pens get Jordan Leopold and Panthers 2nd round pick (2010)

Posted: Mon Mar 01, 2010 3:32 pm
by bruins72
That didn't cost the Pens too much. You've got to figure that their second round pick is going to be towards the end of the round.

The trade market should be heating up now!

Leopold is not very good. Just a depth guy. That is why he came fairly cheap. ACtually for a guy like him...a 2nd is a lot to give up regardless of where it is.

Chicago wants an experienced goalie because they have a small window for this team. They want to WIN NOW. Niemi is not going to get it done, at least in my opinion. 2 years or 3 years from now...maybe. But not now.

I agree. He doesnt have the playoff experience and would crack under the pressure if chicago were tog odepp into the playoffs.

Chicago have just acquired Hannu Toivonen and Danny Richmond for Joe Fallon.

Don't get this one for either team... :dunno:
