EHM The Blue Line

Same error occurs with this update.
A few of us have posted we are experiencing this problem now, so it's not just something I am doing wrong?

Can Garfild or someone else offer some help, please?

In log value to find is bigger than 0.
If bigger you may open cheat engine, search this value and check how many object found.

I cannot download this version, my virus protection is saying this is malicious malware.... What's going on? I don't want a virus.

Virustotal online file scan returned an issue on one of the scans for this: W32/Msil_troj.FN.gen!Eldorado

Metascan also found this on the exe: "Heur:PackedFile@2"

It also found "Heur:TrojanDropper@Gen" in the \opt\dll\System.Windows.Forms.Ribbon35.dll file.

I am sure this is something to do with the fact that it reads memory most virus scans are sensitive to this, however, ideally we don't want to have any virus alarms.

Well....that is no fun... I hope it was an accident and the creator didn't plant a trojan in there with malicious intent.

On a side note, does anyone know how to convert .csv files into .flt files, or does anyone know how to use any exports that this program can produce and transpose it to EHM:EA as a shortlists?

Have anyone on here been able to get the editor to work after the last couple of game updates? Even when you've downloaded the latest editor version?
I've done everything in the description, uncompressed save etc, but no go on opening any save games in the editor.. And if it's a malware program, it's probably already done it's job when we've unpacked it...

I'm assuming the people having issues are people with antivrus protection and your antivirus is removing the infected files, which in turn is making the program not work correctly?

Well, if it does, good.. Should be unnecessary for an antivirus to remove anything at all from a program like that but still, has anyone had a working editor since the last update? ;p

All files scaned by Eset antywirus and nothing found.

I scanned it to, nothing found but still can't get it to work.... Having so much fun with this game, but the little cheater in me just want this editor working...

Anyone know how to make the saved game editor work..? It just says eastside hockey manager not running, but it is running..

Can you open task manager and check in
Applications -> task name is Eastside Hockey Manager
Processes -> process name is ehm.exe

Its running..

Did you load a saved game first?

Yes i did.

My game version is 5.6.1b653965
EHM:EA is 15.6.1.7 but i tryed 15.6.1.6 also

I think i got it working, i tryed pausing my antivirus and it loaded..

It would be preferable if people like yourself could give a step by step procedure of how they got it to work, or offer to provide assistance instead of just coming in and saying that directly in the middle of people talking about having an issue, without actually offering any kind of help. I am and I haven't even been able to use the product, and we would like to get help in using it without expecting someone (Garfild) who gets no compensation for his effort to feel he has to monitor this thread constantly. If people who have got it to work are thankful to Garfild, they can help him with helping others.

It's shame that none of this boards regular users with huge post counts are offering help here when there have been many cries for it. This is how a forum gets a reputation of being helpful or not and so far I am quite unimpressed. These users give the impression that they look down on us newer users. Well, remember we are all in this together as far as making EHM a success.

I can only speak for myself, really but...

1. I have never used it, and I am betting that several others of us have not.
2. We did not put this item together...garfild did, and he would be the one who knows the ins and outs of it.
3. We do not look down on the other newer users, just some of us (most of us I believe) have not used this editor. Why? Because we are focused on other things such as

a/ editing the TBL database constantly.
b. playing the game without edits, becuase we do not want to edit, we want to play.
c. doing other things in life.
d. Working on the EHM UPDATER--Archi.
e. running the site itself--archi and the mods.
f. researching.
g. getting paid for our real life jobs.


Again, repeat...we do not look down on new users, but when they come in with a post that is NEGATIVE towards us we will defend ourselves.

I have no interest in using the assistant, nor have i ever used an editor. And I Know that several others of us have not either.

I think that the old guard here does enough to help you guys out. Sorry we do not understand how to use an editor maybe none of us have ever used.

I do not think NIno was being rude, he was posting that he got it to work. He probably does not know what is wrong with what you are doing, and really not sure he could answer it since it is not his editor.


Oh, and yeah your newbie attitude calling out the vets is not really going to help you get some advice or make us think we should help you out, even if we did know. Which I do not.

Maybe think before posting out of frustration. We all have frustrations in life, and should learn to deal with them better.

I simply followed the step-by-step instructions provided in the first post on the first page of this thread (everything worked without an issue, things were up and running immediately).

I've answered many user questions (when I know the answer or think I might I always help out!). I've spent years spending many hundreds of hours every year researching the TBL and 1974/1998 databases - since you're proclaiming "we're all in this together" I'm wondering what are you providing?

I suspect that no one has helped you because no one (including Garfild) knows why you're having the problem you're having!

Dowload the EHMAssistant_15.6.1.8.
Run EHM:EA
Start New Career Game
Save the game
Run EHMassistant, File->Load Game if can't find object open File->Log->Export CSV and post or send pm.
