I've been working on the upcoming 2009 draft for the last couple of weeks. I still have some stuff to do there (91 new players + finding 91 players to replace from the current DB), but once I've finished that and all daily transfers I'm all set to release 1.1

Lidas,
Can you please add LW to Blues prospect T.J. Fast as a secondary position? He's been getting quite a few shifts there this season for the AHL Rivermen. He looks very comfortable playing up on the wing.
Sure thing! \ Lidas

If that refers to the QMJHL, then yes, Racicot has recently taken over and begun his research.

ECHL - Fresno Falcons and Augusta Lynx have both folded operations since the beginning of the 08/09 season...

Quick question: Is it correct that the Sharks payroll is too high at the beginning of the season? I'm not an expert when it comes to this topic, but I think all players that are in the real line-up are also in the game so I don't understand why the payroll exceeds the maximum...

It could just be a math thing. I started a game with the Bruins and they too were over the cap. By the time I got to October, the "Averaged Club Salary" fell to within the cap limits and all was okay. I didn't have to trade or waive anyone. It dropped a serious amount too. IIRC, it was over $60M at the start of the game and by October 4th (where I currently am now) it had dropped to $54.5M The Total Annual Player Salaries is still over $58M and the cap figure is $56.7M, so it definitely looks at the Averaged Club Salary to decide what you can play with.

May I ask why is consistency suddenly visible for all players? In default database it was visible only for regens.

If Extra Config file has a text "DEBUG_MODE", then consistency is visible for all players. You can check it easily: If you can see Chairmans' profile, the database is in debug mode.

Great Job on 1.1, thanks for all your hard work!
Goalie Coach (not employed) Warren Strelow passed away in 2007.

Weird, he was invalid in the DB, but still in the game. He is removed now, RIP. / Lidas

Great job Lidas, everyone
I did notice (probably not your doing) that in the Canucks history the Most Goals record is a bit off, it states that in 1992-1993 Pavel Bure had 1992 Goals

First, I'd like to thank Lidas (and especially whoever did the OHL Research) for a great roster update.
One little nitpick...Vladimir Bessonov of the Niagara IceDogs is from Angarsk, Russia, not the Czech Republic.

Thanks for the nice words. The thing missing from the OHL though is unsigned prospects. I'll get round to that in the future, working on the dub' right now

The Bure thing is an original DB problem. Always been there.

Nitpicking a little here, but Mike Brown seceded his #13 to Mats Sundin, and is now #15.
OK! \ Lidas

Should Ryan Ellis of the Windsor Splitfire be 17 instead of 19??
You're right! He has been mixed up with another Ryan Ellis. I've fixed it now. / Lidas

Lidas...
Curious as to why I can see consistency ratings for non regenerated players in the 1.1 version of your DB? I have fog of war on, so I am wondering...I have consistencies for every player.

I'm guessing the DB was made with an edited "extra config" file. You could always remove the bit with "DEBUG_MODE" and start a new game.

Do we have to say this again to you Batdad, read closely through the forum. There might already be a solution answered on your problem.
Man, that felt good.
