not going to surprise anyone. I like the format we have because if you lose you lose. No pts for a tie or loss. Most of the ties are 0 to 0 in that category. Sh goals etc. Why reward zeroes. Should be all or nothing as it is.
I know easy to say at 2-0. But you know I would say it the same if 0-2. And I actually think my 2-0 is lucky. I am not happy with most of my players. In particular looking at lw g and d for help.

Actually, I don't think you get points for the ties where neither team has put up any points... at least in the leagues I've played in.

Good but should still be all or nothing. No pts for ties of any kind.

I really need Vanek to get going, my LW is looking very weak right now. Old man Niedermayer is not exactly doing a standout job as my #1 D either but with the minutes and number of shots he's been getting he should turn it around as long as he can put a stop to those minus ratings. The goalie situation could have been pretty bad if I hadn't picked up Bryzgalov as my third goalie for Varlamov insurance. *pats self on back*
Two losses so far, time to turn things around!

And now Vanek is out for "weeks", great!

Man I am going for Cy Young this week....11 G 0 assists. Ugh. Catchup is kicking my arse in many categories. Yet I am still in it. 1 penalty minute behind, 4 or 5 shots...1 shutout away from winning again by a blowout score. Right now though I am losing 5-6 or 4-5 or something.
Wondering if my guys will ever get an assist again? Oh and how can I have 3 shorties already this year and NONE ...not one....from Mike Richards.

Pavel Datsyuk & Vincent Lecavalier interesting trade but I'd keep Datsyuk (Plus/minus issues)

I am going down in flames! I'd be very surprised if I'm not relegated for next season.

And it looks like I won't be far behind...

As a Red Wing fan I wanted to target one of my fav players. Thought it was an even trade since they have both sucked so far...

Hey I picked up my first win! Now if my wingers could just stop tripping over themselves maybe I wouldn't have to rely so heavily on my golies to win games for me. 6W 1SO 1.124 GAA .9551 SV% in the last matchup, anyone beat that record?

I've got Lucic on the IR now... but I can't put him on my IR because I've already got Cole there. How long is Cole supposed to be out?

They said 4 to 6 weeks when he was injured. (Early October)
I haven't heard anything since

I guess I'll just hold onto him and have 1 less player at my disposal for another month.

No worries boys I have to have the worst 3-0 team in the history of fantasy hockey....
Although I am first in Goals, PPGoals, SHGoals, GWGoals, 2nd in shots and 3rd in wins over the season (rotisserie numbers), I am 2nd last in assists, dead last in plus minus, G against average and save percentage, without a shutout, and 5th in PIMs.
I have won every goals category each week, but if that dries up...I am apparently done for. Roberto better pick it up, but with that team in front of him, it may not be for awhile....

It's kind of funny looking at the projected numbers that I posted about earlier and comparing them to the current totals. My team was supposed to score alot of goals, be terrible +/- and have average goaltending... Yea, right.
Granted I have replaced Eriksson with Neal (or Booth) to mess up the projections and I'm sure other teams have changed more than that, still funny though. Speaking of Booth, him and the rest of the Sunshine Kittens' top line need to find their game... darn it,
that's what I should have called my team.

I dont know if Cammalleri trade is good or not, but i'll take that horrible +/- and hope that Florida pick their game up.

I'm obviously hoping Cammalleri's value will end up being a bit higher than Booth's but we'll see. I had five centers on my team and needed to lose someone to activate Vanek from IR so moving Brassard or Little made sense (O'Sullivan has RW eligibility as well). I opted for Brassard mostly because I drafted Little.

I fine trade for both of us since I was looking for a Center and Brassard scored last night, I hope he increase his production.''

Holy bejesus Stinson...4 days in and we each have that gargantuan 2 Penalty Minutes. We have real goon squads don't we?

Awesome... I just pick up Dustin Penner from waivers; forget to add him to my lineup for tonight; he scores two goals and three assists against Columbus. That's more goals than my entire team has scored this whole week... ...and I lost every bit of it to the bench.
Thankfully Mason wasn't in net for Columbus... that would have made it even more insulting.

Penalty Minutes are the hardest things to accrue. People are so into the scoring, that it's almost forgotten about. Me included.

Thank god you did not add Penner.....

The Newbies and the Sun Bears are in a tight battle over who can play the worst defense, the Newbies are leading the +/- category at -2 vs the Sun Bear's -3. Niedermayer and Havlat are the biggest culprits for me and Havlat won't play tonight as a result but I can't bring myself to bench Niedermayer for Enstrom.
The total score right now is 5-3-4 for the Newbies, looks like another battle right down to the buzzer.
