Hi, suddenly I had the idea to re-install my former favorite game EHM 07, on my new laptop with Windows 7
I also had that message "No restrictions - at least one of the days, executions or hours must be restricted 15"
Anyone has a solution to fix that?
Also I have another problem, my elicense is already used on my two old and scrap Cumputers...so i will not be able to license it. Could e-license support release to me a new license?

There are two causes that I know of:
1) You need to download msvcr71.dll:
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 527#p32527
2) Or you've got the cracked version
I think there might be other causes too, but not that I know of (e.g. I've been trying to install the demo on Windows 8 Consumer Preview and keep getting this error).
You can get your licenses reset by contacting eLicense via their support form:
http://www.elicense.com/support-form.aspx
More info about eLicense is here:

This is a bit of a dumb question, but I can't figure it out myself, so here it is:
I'm looking to experiment with some player creation, however I can't seem to find my save folder or any of my players.ehm files. Can you help me out? I'm running EHM on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Thanks!

Is this in relation to EHM 2007? Do you mean player.dat?

I'm having a problem with EHM 07, it refuses to open. I'm running windows 7 64 bit and I've tried every fix you guys have posted on this thread. I think what i did wrong was that I installed and licensed the game on my new computer before I unlicensed it on my old one. The thing is i have two licenses and I want to try to run my other license on this computer but now i can't re-license the game on this computer. I've downloaded the e license control thingy but can't get the thing running, what's the activation code? So my questions are...
Anyone got any ideas on how to fix my problem without having to license it with my other license?
If not then how can i license the game with my other licence when i can't get the order id window to pop up after re-installment of the game?
[Edit] I figured out how to unlicense my game and tried my other license, but it didn't work.

Welcome to TBL!
You can run two licenses simultaneously on two separate computers.
Can you install the try'n'buy demo? Can you get the demo up and running?

Thank you for the welcome.
I can install the try'n'buy demo, but i can't start it. There's no try it thingy only purchase, eamil to friend, license and exit.
I didn't get a Sport Interactive directory in my documents if that matters for some reason.

There should be a button that says "Play Demo" or "Start Demo" - something like that. It is on that same screen.

Please could you post a screenshot of what you see when you double-click on ehm2007.exe?

I see my desktop and a loading ring next to my mouse cursor. Nothing else, well there's the user account control box that pops up before that.

I'm confused. If you can't load the game then how are you able to see the "purchase", "email to a friend", "license" and "exit" screen? This is the screenshot I was asking for.

Oh ok, I thought you wanted the screenshot of what happens when i try to start the game after licensing it. At that point there's nothing to see... Here comes the try'n'buy screenshot.

Glad to hear it! Sorry - I ought to have suggested disabling your antivirus scanner sooner (it's the most common cause of the loading issues).

It's probably for the same reason as Rabbiz's problem - i.e. try disabling your anti-virus scanner.

Hello there.
I am having exactly this issue. I have disabled my anti virus and firewall (just in case) and I cannot get the game to load at all. I just get a loading ring and then nowt.
Any ideas? Im pulling out what hair I've got left as I am having some serious withdrawal symptoms!

Welcome to TBL!
I take it you've added the msvcr71.dll to the correct folder and you've been using the "Run as Admin" option?

I think I have (I used the instructions on here) but a quick pointer to double check would be appreciated.
And yes, I've been using the Run as Admin option.

Here you go:
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 117&t=8700
Usually any difficulties relating to getting the game to load is either because the dll is missing or there is something preventing the eLicense system from running. You may want to try temporarily disabling any firewall or any other software which may interfere with it (such as a virus scanner - but I know you've already tried this).

Thanks again.
I totally uninstalled my firewall, which was Comodo, and although it was working, I couldnt get it out of the massive resolution, which I have noticed is an issue. I have tried using the -small-windowed line but that does not work. I am getting a message:
Runtime Error!
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Any idea what this is?

What screen resolution are you running? You need a resolution of at least about 800 px tall to run the windowed mode.
