Everything is fine. Someone was on my PC at about 10:30 EST as I was on it! I closed VNC after that until I was done watching Survivor, however, the game is fine.

Unable to do anything in game. Keeps freezing. When I go to VNC looks like someone is watching something. Don't see the game like usual.

I will delay simming until when I get home from work as a result of the above.

Pax - yeah I was on my PC watching a show but i checked the game at the time and it seemed fine. since it was and you tried again, i saved.

Vic - game seemed fine when I checked (at 630am est). i will restart just as a precaution. i was downloading something last night and forget to turn it off so perhaps that affected the connection. if it continues, please let me know.

Same problem again tonight. I was able to log into game, however, it would slow right away and eventually freeze over and over. When I checked VNC I could tell you were online watching videos. Never had any problems when game was with the temp host.

Seems like this is a common issue with a lot of the GMs in the last few days. Cannot connect to the game while other programs are running. Prob running out of resources to run the game properly.

It's 10 AM local time (3 AM EST) and I haven't been able to log in the game after Sep 29th PM sim. I'm afraid that the sim schedule is not so good as it is supposed to be if the game is down (=inaccessible) significant times between the simmings. And I have to add that I feel this is a problem more common to us Euros, because there is not so many VNC'ers around on these hours usually.

fine for me, was in around 1pm est.

Markku, speak to a VNC'er and they will give you the password. You can be an additional VNC'er for the Euro's.

My laptop is more powerful than the computer that was hosting before. However, it will be back on my main computer in the next couple of days - I just need to buy a wireless adapter for my PC. Also at that point, my computer will only really be used for running the game and my computer is overkill as it is. Definitely not a resources issue. Maybe an issue with me downloading though.

I wont sim til tomorrow but unfortunately, this will make it so we dont have a live sim on Sunday. I dont want to have people teams exhausted by rushing the offseason. I'll post the new schedule tomorrow when I get up.

Still an ongoing issue as of tonight. I've been doing access test with different GMs with the same results. When the wireless signal is poor, we can connect to the game but cannot move pass the Resume Control screen. When I tried to go in via VNC, it takes forever to show the whole desktop so it must be wireless connection. After looking at your wireless signal, it was only showing 2 bars so this is where we are having trouble with accessing the game i believe. Dallas suggested that we should have a wired connection when hosting to ensure consistent connection speed.

We started noticing this 3 days ago and now it's more frequent/worse to the point that we can't do anything in game.

I have been having a similar problem of late, when I can get in game I navigate a few pages then it freezes up.

Yea, I haven't really been able to log in long enough to make any changes in about a week.
Shooter, not sure your router modem cpu setup, but hardwiring it, if possible, definitely seems like a good choice atm.

connection seems to be ok now..3 bars.

definitely has to do with me downloading and my new net setupthen. i currently share with downstairs and its completely wireless. if its going to be an issue im going to get my own net.

Both server and vnc seem to be down atm.

K, cant move the game from my laptop to my PC yet. I have a cheap ass PSU in my PC and I need to buy one that will work in Canada. Apologise for any inconvenience.

Game may be down temporarily while I try and get it up on my other computer. Looks like the issue is with my net connection and I think my laptop is better but I will see. I am ordering my own internet today or tomorrow.
