A very nice performance. We totally outplayed the Hawks - the scoreline suggested it was much closer than it actually was. We fired nearly twice as many shots on goal as they did. Zetternan played brilliantly, providing three assists. Let's hope we can build on this victory.

Kidhander has fully recovered from his injury.

Edmonton offered the rights to Taylor Chorney and Frederik Pettersson for Tasku.

St. Louis offered the rights to Nikita Nikitin and Viktor Aleksandrov, 2006 4th and 5th round picks for Tasku.

I told them to keep their grubby mits off Tasku 8-)

Archi...is it possible that you will hold a deadline firesale if we have no chance of getting to the playoffs? That'd be pretty cool. 8-) And then you could post updates on how the traded player is doing on his new team. :joy:

Just a suggestion. :dunno:

Just curious, why is the captain logging so much ice time? ;)

Jeez, that's a pretty crushing defeat. I think I'll launch that press release that cites managerial incompetence as the reason for our poor form...;)

Yikes! 49 to 69 shots. Only half of our shots were on target, though. Octavian was the only player to put in a good performance. Sort it out, Wayne

Yeah now that's more like it. Shots-wise it was a close game but we were the better team. To a great extent, we have E_ca to thank for our win. He was solid in goal. Also, my captain's team talks also made the difference (take that, Systemfel :P) :D

Sadly Quazeye is out for four months having seperated his shoulder during the game :-o  Perhaps we need to bring someone in to cover.

Well if we have to clear a roster space or two my suggestion would be to move out disruptive influences in the clubhouse such as those questioning playing time and managerial decisions in the press. ;)

We really let things slip towards the end of the second period and we never really recovered from it. :dunno:

Absolutely shocking. How the heck did we manage to let a two goal lead slip into a two goal loss?! I think our injuries are badly affecting our team so I'm trying to being in another winger. Vorobiev is top of my list.

We've rejected an offer from San Jose for Hluraven.

The scoreline suggests as though the game was close but in reality we were thrashed by Atlanta (pardon the pun).

I'm out for three weeks after I suffered a groin strain in practice. That's both of our first line wingers out of action. :-o

I've rejected an offer from the Panthers for Hluraven.

End of the month. There's not that many games next month due to the Olympics. I'll post updates regarding Team TBL players in Turin. Here's the usual stats:

By the way, we didn't manage to sign Vorobiev. After that, I tried a couple of other players but to no avail (there were some teams willing to negotiate but they wanted to rip us off big time). I eventually managed to sign Mikael Samuelsson from the Red Wings in return for the rights to Pier-Olivier Pelletier. Whilst Pelletier is a very promising prospect, I felt that we needed someone to help out our current position even if this means comprimising our long term future slighty.

Nice to see that the first line is still performing despite the loss of its two wingers. Octavian, the sole survivor of the original first line, scored two points. Blackcats also got a G and A. Samuelsson had a fairly decent debut.

I'm happy to stay and fight for TBL, keep rejecting the offers for me. What did they think I was worth by the way :-k
