Unfortunately no. I don't think there's nothing that can be done for that except that the person who plays correct that by himself with the save-game editor. But imagine how it could be long to do that after each draft.

Then my next question is, will there be a "normal" db released? Cause I don't feel like doing this in a save-game editor each year.

I was wondering this as well. My guess is that regens will continue to have the standard consistency and aggression ratings, which means you will have new guys coming into the game with high attributes in those areas again.

Actually...in the game I am playing that has the consistency set up at the start (changed), the Mats Sundin regen has a consistency of 7. and the other regen forwards have low consistencies as well.

I fully believe that the consistency and aggression ratings with that having been worked on .... are staying at least somewhat constant with the regens. In other words are lower.

And El Payaso...the idea of our databases is to keep things as realistic as we can within the constraints of EHM. So...I would not expect unaltered consistency and aggression databases in the future, unless someone figures out another way to get scoring and penalty minutes to realistic levels.

if you are concerned about fighting..the aggression level does not matter..can still rack up the PIMs by setting the players individual tactics. Berserk and encouraged fighting work wonders for PIMs, and berserk and allowed fighting as well (Not as many insigators but still alot of them)

So...if you wish to find another way to lower the scoring to more accurate levels (never will exact be possible_, and PIMs to proper levels (agian exact will not happen save by fluke)....then be our guest and go and figure out how to do it.

The amount of time the guys put in on this to have someone come in here and pain and complain about how it works really Bryzgalovs me off. If you don.t like it...than do not use it, or fix it yourself. Do not come in here and whine about how it is not to your liking. It is not as if Manimal, archi, nino et al get paid to do this rubbish for you.

So....either man up or take a hike and go cry somewhere else.

Good to know. Thanks for the update!

Normal DB? Play the original one then. The new DB seems pretty normal to me I don't understand your question.

Thought I would mention this here as well. The rights to Evgeny Kuznetsov (Washington Capitals) are gone when starting a new game and he is a free agent. Also, the rights to Thomas McCollum are not with the Red Wings despite the database showing he belongs to them. These issues are both in the 6.1 database.

Mention only in 1 place...every person who is in charge of DB editing sees all the threads. We do not need to open thirteen threads and see the same things. Thanks all the same.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, that was not my intention. I really appreciate the work you put in to this, I really do. I was only expressing my concern about the aggression/consistency-changes and it's effects on newgens/regens. If, as you say, it will remain lower, then there's no problem. If not, so be it...It's not like I'm demanding that someone changes it for me.

philou21//
When I say "normal" dababase I mean a database with all the changes except aggression/consistency still stretching from 1 to 20.

Via the EHM Updater tool (http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... hm+updater) pretty much everything can be easily/quickly edited by anyone inclined to do so...

Also, if desired the ability to revert back to the previous Consistency/Temperment ratings already exists http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... Y#p165221w

I'm in my fourth season now and I received my first report regarding the draft and well, I noticed in the 4 season that the prospects are so small! Even the years before are full of dawrf. I have numerous players under 6 feet and barely have a weight of 150-160 lbs. Players that are 6.2 or 6.4 are weight of 170lbs and a handfull of them can weight 200lbs. Does the editing on the DB have something to do with that? Like that bug when players play too much in juniors and are not developing?

I just hope when regen will start to appear they will be bigger because in 3-4 years the NHL will look like a dwarf league. :-D

Not sure if this has been brought up, but Zach Parise has been joining Canada for the Olympics and beyond. Is there a way to make him ineligible for Team Canada without removing his Canadian citizenship

LOL. Love it Zach. Run from the USA!!

But I was just going to come in here and say, how come Petr Nedved never makes my Czech National teams in my game?

Too old, too weak, too slow? (in the game I mean) I don't think I've seen Finland picking Selänne either in the latest rosters but I might be wrong. :D

And yes, that should be editable, although I dunno how but it's been done before.

In game he's both Russian and Finnish (born in Tampere), and Finland has been checked off as "Declared" (he's played for Finland in the last 3 World Juniors, and is/was playing for Finland in the Olympics until he got hurt)

His CA is 175, as is his Home Reputation (the only Finnish player with a higher rating is Pekka Rinne with a 180 CA)...

Ahh okay! Well maybe you chould switch his nationality to Finnish, and 2nd nationality to Russian (now it's the other way around). Because he has the Russian flag now.

Same thing with Leo Komarov. Also Barkov's first name should be Aleksander, not Alexander because Aleksander is the Finnish spelling version and that version is used in the NHL.

He might still be retired from international duty, that was the case in 6.0 (for quite many veteran Finns).

Is that something the game does automatically? Or can it be edited?
