My character is named "Jim Reid"
Sounded close enough to Lou Reed to be cool so I took it.

You have to leave your band/solo project first.

Great, but you know that your character's name can't beat mine.

I see Bruins finally ended it, for those of you that didn't know yet.

There is a Popomundo section to the Knowledge Base here at TBL. That's a good place to start. Of course, there have been a lot of changes to the game since that info was written but it's a good place to start.

Yeah i found it and the help on the website itself. There's just so darn much of it, just thought someone might have been able to have a quickfire way of making it easier!

Not so much. It can be a pretty involved game and it's changed a lot since I started played 2 or 3 years ago.

Is it just me who miss the old and simple Popomundo. I try to get involved in my character but it's not near as fun as it was in the beginning. I think Popo lost me when they started with zombies, before that it was more like real life. Nowadays it has developed into some mix between Dragonfable or any other online adventure game, the part with killing zombies, and some music career game. I think they just should have focused on the musical part of it.

Yeah, they kind of went off the deep end with putting so much focus on every other aspect of the game besides the musical part. More recently they're started to fix some of the music related elements that have been broken for a while though. Still, it's not enough to hold my interest anymore.

What the Dickens Killing zombies? I can't get anything accomplished - to me its a game of clicking other people and doing 3 interactions, watching your person go to random places and learn at a intensely slow pace..... Thats about it so far haha.

There is an annual "Day of the Dead" where Zombies take over one of the cities (I think it's the one in the worst shape at the time) and players can hunt zombies (with the right gear and skills). I never did it and could never figure how that fit into the game.
The game is meant to be something you spend a few minutes a day on but you could stretch it out to occupy more time as things progress. Things do happen slowly though.

My question for today is:
Out of those who are active and enjoy the game, how many of you are skill-wise, experienced and would like to form a rock n' roll band with me? My character is Archie Buser, let me know.

So, anyone still into Popomundo?
If so, how is it these days? Has much changed since our big Popo-wave a couple years ago?
I quit right after everything started to get all cartoony. Apparently they even went on to have zombies in the game?
I've recently been looking for some decent long-term real-time browser games, but I can't find much; So just wondering how the former big hit is doing. Maybe I could get back into it if it hasn't gotten too out of hand...

Yup, I keep playing it. Time from time they mess up with music/performance oriented Adam Oates, there haven't been any revolutionary additions in the past few months, as far as I recall.

I've started a new character. Craig Hutton, from London.
Stop by if you're in town.

I was for a little, but it quickly got boring with no one else around.
And it looks like my new guy is already dead, anyway? That sure was quick; They must have really cut down the limit you have for inactivity.
