Slightly off-topic, but what do you guys do to cut out players? I've tried various methods with PS but none of them really turn out that well.

I use a combination of the Magic Wand/Marquee Tool and the Eraser Tool. It takes a lot of attempts, though - you can't remove it all in one go. I find it best to use the Eraser and the Selection Tool to delete large areas of the background which are not immediately adjacent to the player. For those areas of colour that are adjacent, I tend to use the Magic Wand to select and delete areas of colour. Sometimes it also requires some manual Eraser Tool work to delete portions.
But note that I'm a novice - guys like CJ and Devils88 might have better techniques.
