Haha, true. I can't get him this draft, but next year, he's mine.

I used the NHL website to do some simple research, and I think that I have Chris Mason here, based on the fact that the height is the same, glove hand is the same, and his weight is slowly reaching Mason's. And the fact that Mason probably would have retired in the right timeframe to be regened in Edmonds' first year.

I just saw a regen who had both Czech and German nationality, even thought he hadn't played in Germany, so he had naturally binationality. Have you saw regens with two nationalities?

Did the regen that came from Canada have the same province than the original player? I always think about this and i wanna know if it's like the city where they are born, it always random. :-k

I drafted the Fedorov regen in the NSH challenge, and he had Russian and American nationalities.

I'm still wondering about this, also i was wondering what draft year is the first for the Canadian and American regens that retire on the first day of the game? I've looked through the thread and theres no specific answer. I'm going into the 2011 Entry Draft soon and I think i have found the Sean Burke and Rob Blake regens, but im not quite sure if this is the year for them or if it is the 2012 Draft. Dunno

For the one who retire in 2006 or 2007 it's the 2010 and 2011 draft where there regen is going to be. For all the other it's in 2009 where some regen start to appear. A North-American player takes 4 years to came to the draft after is retirement.

That's because a specific answer doesn't exist. The general rule of thumb is 2-3 years for Euros and 3-4 for NA players.

Yeah, over the last few days i've figured that out. I've been doing alot of research and searching through the recent draft classes to find which players i could find. So far, i have found regens for:

Peter Bondra
Alexander Mogilny
Rob Blake
Theron Fleury
Brian Leetch
Brett Hull
Tony Amonte
Luc Robitaille
Chris Chelios
Jeremy Roenick
Gary Roberts
Sergei Fedorov
Alexei Yashin
Teppo Numminen

Or at least i think i have haha.

Getting Open up to 16

I can't for the life of me figure out who this is. I've been searching for hours :help:

He also has a 12 in consistency and is ranked #1 for the upcoming entry draft. He's scouting report suggests a starting goaltender with an acrobatic style.

I was wondering....a regen got all the same things that the original player do ( weight, height, shooting hand and position ) But, it's time for the Forsberg regen to show up and i search it intensely. I found a guy who got all the same thing as him but for one thing......his height his 6 foot instead of 6 foot 1. Those the 1 inch missing really mean that he is not the Forsberg regen? Thanks for the answer, i've always think about that but never think to ask. :-D

Philou21, here you have it summarized. As for the height: he surely can grow and become Forsberg one day :-D It depends on the actual age of the regen. 15-17 y/o regen hasn't the same height/weight as the original player at 40...
batdad wrote:Information tab. If there is a number there...regen. If not...no regen

Regen attributes that are consistent with original player.

1. Country of birth
2. shooting hand
3. position
4. flair
5. determination
6. bravery (I believe)
7. Adult height and weight (I believe).

May be some others too, but those are the general ideas.

Please list others.

How much of this is the same in EHM 05? For example, if the player matches 1, 2, 3, and 7 in 2005 - does that gaurantee he is the regen?

Í'm not sure but I'd bet that you can count on it. Although, all these attributes guarantee nothing. He can still be a regen of someone else or a randomized player. I think all the regen identification methods are very vague :-D
BTW: what about upgrading to EHM 2007? ;) See this thread
