The intent is that you make a new workspace for your league. That way when you inevitably need to update your photos next season, it only generates the ones that have changed.

Ok I finally got your example working, it generated players jersey image in dir players.
So if I want my own jerseys matching my rosters, what file should I take as workplace?

Create a new one (click the new workspace, type a name and click ok)

It works great!! Thanks!
The problem was because I run the game in french, it has to be in english for the program to read the rosters.

Thanks for the heads up.... I wouldn't have thought to try!

Great tool.
One question though, can I apply this on any league or is it only able to be used in the NHL?

Only the NHL.... it makes use of the shop.NHL.com custom jersey applet, so only the teams that are available on there.

Hi,
Just trying this today and got this error:
Parsing C:/utils/jersey_dl/pensgame\Penguins.txt
Unexpected error 2: <type 'exceptions.ValueError'>
Complete!
Any ideas?

Do you have any really long player names? I've seen this happen because a long player name will run into the position field in the roster file, if you manually edit the file to separate the position and player name, it should work.
Otherwise, you can send me your roster file so I can take a look and see if there is anything else that I wasn't aware of...

Hi,
I found the problem. My exported file has dates like 10.23.1980, whilst the example txt file that came with the program has dates 10-23-1980. After I manually edited my file like the example date style, it worked. I wonder which EHM option I need to tick to view dates like this.

I saw that on one of your other posts.... that is awesome stuff... I'd love to automate something like that, but it's probably impossible(?)

Hi, I really like your Jersey Generator.
Do you plan adding extra options?
Something I would like to see is choosing jersey by team instead of def, for and goalie. (I mean as another option)
Ex: I would like to be able to choose something like having 3rd jersey for Ottawa and Home jersey for Montreal
Would it be possible?
Thanks

No matter what I do, I always get
Unexpected error 2: <type 'exceptions.ValueError'>
Complete!

Then i changed dates to 1980-11-2 ... and get this
Downloading C:\Users\Alessandro\Desktop\players\Pekka_Rinne_11_3_1982.png
Unexpected error 2: <type 'exceptions.ValueError'>
Complete!
EDIT: Dates must be in NA format!

Is there a way to update the jerseys?
Like Dallas new jersey or Ottawa new third jersey (Classic heritage)

First off, awesome program. One thing I always felt EHM 07 was missing was jerseys.
Secondly, while technically true, a lot of youth teams (not to mention numerous minor league teams) use NHL jersey templates. Since they're just the rear of the jersey and not the front, you could make jerseys for those teams, too.

Wow, great job. I've been looking for something like this for years. Unfortunately I'm having a few problems and I was wondering if I could get some help. I only manage to generate one jersey before I get an "Unexpected error 2: <type 'exceptions.UnicodeEncodeError'>". So after generating one pic I'll have to remove the first player on the roster list text-file and then I can generate the next one and so on. The second problem I'm having is that the pictures won't center (check the link).
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=21ne0ap ... _JdTvl_vQU The generated pics are 260x260 in size, is that normal?

Facepack images are normally 200 px wide. From your screenshot, it looks like there might be transparent edges either side of the image. I suggest opening up your image in a graphics editor to see whether that's the case. If so, you'll need to crop it in order to remove the transparent edges. That might explain why the image doesn't appear centred in game.
The error with the Generator might be because you're using an unsupported accent or character in your list (a Unicode error suggests a problem with a character). You might want to check whether you have any accented names in your list and try removing them to see if that fixes the problem.

This generator is great. I have EHM installed on two different machines. My home PC the generator is working great. My work laptop is not. I keep getting "Unexpected error 2: <class 'httplib.BadStatusLine'>" Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I might be wrong but I think the program needs to access a site online, so make sure your laptop has wifi available.
Other error i've seen is when saving roster in a different language than english.

The online site thing would make sense. They block the weirdest things at work.

I did get this error too: Unexpected error 2: <type 'exceptions.ValueError'>
Changed EHM07 Preferences and now it works!
You have to use:
Language: English (US)
Date Format: North American

Thanks, but I already have that and I'm still getting the error.
