Fixing the game

So I got thinking.. what are some features that are out there in other games or in your heads that you think might help this game improve? Here are a few of mine...
1. Star ratings - It works in OOTP, it works in FM... FHM HAD it but for some reason they went away from it.
2. Player roles - What a great way to keep goons from fighting front line centers? Allow me to set player roles in my lineup screen such as "enforcer" or "scoring winger" or "grinding winger" or "checking center" and so on and so forth. I am sure we could come up with plenty. The players focus on THAT role primarily.
3. Fix the god awful GUI - Seriously... its been terrible since day one, and it continues to be terrible. How about adding things like an OOTP transaction screen.. or even some skin options....
4. Tactics run by sliders - Enough of the drop downs. Let's move back towards sliders. Again, I feel like the slider system works pretty well for OOTP.
And one more........
5. Completely scrap ingame play for now - Make this into a GM game until you have perfected that much like Hockey League Simulator was in the 90's. You can set your lineups, you can set your preferred tactics, and hire a head coach to handle things like line changes. It is a hockey management game. Fix that, perfect that before moving on to something else.
