Haha, don't worry, it's not floorball, that would make it a literal 4 market game (Sweden, Finland, Czech Rep and Switzerland) and all those countries care way more about hockey than floorball... Doesn't mean that they're making a new hockey manager game right now, but there's no way they'd make a floorball game instead of a hockey game...

I still play floorball competitively in Finland and follow both football and hockey actively. I’ve been asked to do a Floorball Manager game occasionally but I haven’t seriously considered that so far…

Now, after 8 years, I have finally decided to move my EHM 2007 carrer from my old laptop to desktop computer. I'm still playing the very first carrer I started on the day of EHM 07 release. On and off of course, as my laptop is slowly dying on me (I can now use it literally for EHM only, as it gets overwhelmed once I try to open the web browser, not to mention number of errors I get, when trying to update any sort of thing on it ). Therefor I've only got to the year of 2030 in eight years of playing. But still, it's quite a priceless save game, so I hope to successfully transfer it to my desktop computer

Anyway, I really hope to stay in touch more now, not so much contribution wise (as I don't have time nor required skills anymore ), but certanly for some general ehm/real life hockey discussions. Oh, and of course, if coincidentally today really is the day of some big news about *new* EHM, then it will be something to remember.

Considering everything is in database format nowadays and those who make the editors for EHM are very crafty people, I have a feeling the number of available leagues will soon outnumber those in FHM greatly... Also, SI is adding more leagues before too long... So yeah... OOTP had their chance and they blew it...

Absolutely, everything has a database in its core, but with FHM they had brought the spreadsheet into the game. As you say, it's only a matter of time before the EHM community catches up with the volume of data. I guess we are talking months..? I always thought OOTP were wrong when they focused on volume over quality of play and that real "hockey feel".

Such a happy day, the EHM fans really deserve this!!

This is so great. I'd like to thank everyone at SI and here for keeping EHM alive.

and i'd like to apologize to OOTP for not buying FHM2. I'm in a head-to-head roto league which as already ended this season, my 2nd place winnings will be gone before the end of the day.

I'm beyond excited for this, especially since less will be hardcoded. I also see that there is a folder for some kind of editor. Is SI developing it? What's the timeframe for its availability?

Apologies to the guys at FHM but EHM is the mecca and I'm loving it so far.
