So CHL has started again, thought I'd up this thread (I've edited the title as well.)
Nottingham put in a relatively good performance against Bern, but still lost 5-2. Cardiff got their backsides handed to them 10-1 by Davos
I will be rooting for the Finns again this year

Davos were always going to win that one quite comfortably no disrespect to Cardiff.
In contrast last season Steelers lost 8-1 I think it was to Salzburg then we beat them 5-2 at home so all hope is not lost.

I will keep fingers crossed for IFK Helsinki, because my first longer career in new EHM was with that team

but fact that I like the most in CHL is that it's opportunity to see teams that normally would be impossible

There were couple of good games already (Brynas vs IFK was fun to watch) and I was surprised that Mountfield outplayed TPS Turku that much.
I hope CHL will have better reputation in top hockey nations in few years.

I was expecting a big win, but not quite 10-1!
Good effort by Nottingham to beat Mountfield away, first EIHL team to win away from home in the CHL

Nottingham top of their group after a fantastic result against Bern this evening. Two games left against Turku, hopefully they can win one and get qualification

Amazing performance from Panthers ! While in France Gap is using CHL as pre-season drill games and it's a shame. I'd not be surprised if the CHL board doesn't allow a french slot next year.

Mokshantsev!
He certainly seems to have started the season well
Cardiff beat Davos 4-3 in overtime, good victory for them too.
