Has anyone been able to get V8.0a of the TBL rosters into the new version of the game? I don't see anything in the workshop, and can't get it in the data/database way.

For you guys with the DirectX problem. I had it myself for weeks. Finally managed to solve it. What I did was as following.

1. Change the screen resolution of your desktop top 1024*768. After you've changed the resolution, don't close the window where you can change the resolution.
2. Start the game.
3. Go to preferences and untick "Play sound"
4. Tab out of the game
5. Change your screen resolution to 1920*1080 or whatever you want
6. Tab in to the game
7. Go to preferences. Select Window mode
8. Select a resultion that is lower than your screen resolution. For me, it was 1400*900 as I wanted to play in a windowed mode, and be able to scroll the interwebz without tabing out of the game.
9. That should work and you can now play EHM: EA in windowed mode.

NOTE: You can also select to play in full screen mode in your resolution if that is what you wan't to do.

Im playing EHM in legitimate wide screen and not having it bug out when I alt tab out

Disregard, was able to get this.

This is great and all but please fix trading AI. It's absolutely terribly unrealistic.

How did you do it?

The 2D simulation is broken after the update. I usually watch the games with fast clock, highlights set to key only and speed set to normal and the simulation is freezing until I hit "fast forward".

Does anyone know what to do about this? For me this makes the game unplayable...

I can understand having the Asian league, but adding that many British leagues? Why not focus on adding the Swedish third divisionm the VHL or the junior leagues?

I need advice/help. Because there is no 1600*900 option on screen size I went with the 1920*1080 and now I can't get in to the game. can i unistall and then install again without having licence trouble?

I have same issue bro and what is even worse I can not get into the game.

The game is quite popular in the UK, despite it not being a top hockey country. Many FM players playing this game as well, and the general interest at these kind of games in the UK, I suppose.

Also when players retire due to injury... I just had Jon Toews retire due to injury in only 2018... Naturally I traded for the Blackhawks' 1st right after the announcement and it ended up a top 5 pick.. But seriously. Stupidly unrealistic they would retire that young.

SI is a British company with a good market presence here in Britain from Football Manager. And while Hockey is a 'niche' sport compared to Football here I imagine they want to get as many local clubs as they can to increase sales here in the UK. I'd probably not play unless my home-town team MK Lightning was included, and I'm looking forward now to a game as my local Oxford City Stars and MK Thunder. I imagine the fans of those teams, and other 'traditional' hockey teams (with a lot of history, but without the finances to operate in the top two divisions) such as Invicta Dynamos or Wightlink Raiders will be grateful to have their team in the game.

I agree that there are other leagues that also deserve attention, is the Champion's Hockey League even in yet? But there's no harm in having the more 'obscure' leagues in. I'm hoping we get the 'Emirates Hockey League' in (UAE) purely for the change to manage the 'Dubai Mighty Camels' and because Tom Carlon (ex-Lightning) plays out there.

Does anyone know if they have fixed the, with AHL players who plays WJC returns back to their AHL team after the group stage? It's really annoying and it destroys the hole tournament for me
