Yeah, I forgot to mention this. It is almost the most important thing, as players will look to thin or fat if the ratio is missed up.

BTW, Minstrel, do you by any chance know of good places to get mugshots for NHL players?

The packs for Buffalo I have seen on another site for example have much better pictures than can be found anywhere on Buffalo's official website, the NHL website or the NHLPA website. But I have no idea where the author got them from :(

You could try a Google Image search for the player name; but I'm not really sure where to find pics you could ask Devils88 if he has any tips on that though, as he's the one with tons of experience compiling picks for all kinds of leagues.

How about the nhl section in espn? I search there for a few players and it comes up with stats. I don't know weather the pictures are big enough though.

This is how they look Espn

Thanks for the tips. The problem with google is that pictures can be from past seasons. I would like to only have pictures of what the players actually look like this year (if that makes sense :) ).

The ESPN ones are the same as those from NHLPA and are unfortunately to small :(

How's it going with this project?

I have Phoenix and all their affiliates and Columbus with one affiliate (though not topnotch quality).

Hi, thanks for the help.

I have created quite alot of teams, but am waiting a bit because TWolf has released packs for 4 teams in the NHL (and I think he might be releasing for the others at some time) and his are so much better than I could ever make them - I don't know where he gets his pictures from?

When the unfaking is out I will get my pictures compatible with it and se if TWolf makes more, then either release all the ones for the AHL/ECHL/CHL/UHL etc. and let people use his NHL ones or maybe try to create the last NHL teams which I can find pictures for if this doesn't happen.

I will get back to you and integrate your pictures at some time then if that is ok :)

Together we have quite alot of teams covered.

Just to let people know. I have done alot of teams now, but have been doing them in PNG instead for my own use as I have found out that it makes them look alot less grainy. I think it has something to do with my programs use of JPG as it shouldn't make that big a difference theoretically.

I will eventually convert them to JPG and put together a bigger pack with many teams for people who would rather have them like that, but if you can't wait and don't mind PNG's (which do take up alot more space), then I have put them up at the Sportsgamer server.

There are also some other great packs available there :

No, the entire NHL isn't covered. I haven't been able to find more good sources myself, but I am sure someone else will at some point.

But there are fairly many NHL teams available, along with most of the AHL and the UHL. Also some russian teams.
