I started with the Wings too. Did you notice that Shawn Horcoff is on the opening roster for Detroit? I just ended up releasing his rights and he disappeared. Very odd.
Yes! I was super confused, but it says he is retiring at the end of the season and I cannot even play him anyways.

That's odd about Shawn Horcoff, as I looked him up in TBL 9.0b using the PreGame Editor, and while his Player Details/Player Attributes tabs still exist, he's correctly set as a Non-Player and as Director of Personnel (as he should be
http://edmontonjournal.com/sports/hocke ... -red-wings); I checked the Red Wings Staff and Horcoff's the only Director of Personnel, so I don't know why he's showing up as a player.....

It can happen when we turn players into non-players and forget to remove the player details

It looks I could take challenge and try HK Kurbads, just have to create new league as Latvian Virslīga currently is not playable!

Did you do this in the end? I'd be interested in seeing what the Latvian league is like on EHM

No, not yet, still playing Dinamo Riga in Champions league. But if you are interested specifically in authentic Latvian Virsīga then somebody (Edgars? probably) created one already as I remember seeing picture in one of the posts.

Reviving this thread since we'll probably have the new season's database in the next weeks/months. (No pressure intended, I know last year wasn't easy IIRC)
I'll definitely going to start a save with the Canadiens. This team needs a new GM and a new philisophy!

Rebuilding that team will be fun since there's no good prospects within the team except Mete. I'll probably even try to trade Price before his big contract comes in.

I'm probably going to play this game after a longer break too, when the roster comes out. And, as usual, I'll go with Caps.

Hahaha..

True no prospects... if you don't count Galchenyuk and Drouin in there (as they're still young). Mete and Lehkonen maybe they'll become something..

Mete has a nice futur ahead of him I think as a pretty good 3rd or 4th guy. Lehkonen so far this year is far from looking as good as last year....but so do the whole team right now!
My goal would probably to build around Drouin.

For me it seems like MTL is a Zoo full of different animals in one cage right now.

Yeah. They've got plenty of each category of players.

What they have the most though is alot of aging monkeys that are slowing down.

New York Rangers - try to solve the mess they're in (it's probably the only way I'll see Mcdonagh and Shattenkirk play together!)
Milton Keynes Lightning & Team GB - try and build Lightning into the CHL and develop some players for GB
Frolunda - coaching Hank's brother and Andersson
Eisbaren Berlin - because I'm aiming to go see them this season

Hi, I don't want to spam or something, but I think this might be the right place to ask about recommendation for a new career. I am looking for a interesting team to start new career from lower European leagues. I like to rebuild fallen legends, so did anyone tried with lower Swedish league or can recommend me something? I was thinking about lower Swedish, Czech or Slovakian leagues, but I am open-minded for another suggestions

Move Znojmo from EBEL to Czech lower league (Znojmo played first league from 1999 to 2008 I think), but then they lose their license, played in second tier, but then they moved to EBEL. But fans as like I (I'm from Znojmo) we could Znojmo in Czech league again...

Last year I'd have gone for Bergen IK (Norway 1st Div) but they went bankrupt and set down a few leagues
I'm thinking about creating a new team in Norway with the editor in order to challenge Stavanger a bit

Västerås is a team that has fallen in the Swedish leagues. They were once a team in the highest league for several seasons.
