Really excited for another retro roster, hope this is still being worked on!

Hey guys, sorry I abandoned the roster. The 1.5 update has me looking at it again and I am excited about the change updates to the editor to make the 24 team league. Doing player histories terrifies me. Any help is welcome. If someone feels like they want to take the lead I am open to that too.

I have a spreadsheet of player career histories which I gathered back in 2019 for the 1992/93 season. I'll prep a fully working spreadsheet for you which you can then just import into the database using the Editor. I'll give you step by step instructions too.

Did I make a 24 team NHL league for you already or did I imagine this? I have a few resources I gathered for your DB a year or two ago but I cannot remember off-hand what we did in the end. Either way, I have a 24 league structure saved to an .ehm file, so it should be straightforward to import.

You did, I think I found it. I think I ran into some problem with that roster a while ago but I cannot remember exactly why I stopped.

Hi, I found a 92-93 retro roster database, it said JBO roster 92-93, but I went through it and made the rosters and coaching staffs more accurate, as well I updated the arenas, and restructured the playoff format so that there would be divisional playoffs before the conference finals like there were in 92-93.
I also added some of the player histories for more notable players as well as team and individual records.
I also updated some of the future prospects/potential draft picks.
and got rid of duplicate players, players that were incorrectly listed as staff etc.

I am pretty new to EHM though and I don't actually know how to upload the database to share with other people. does anyone here know how to do that?

You could put the database and any cfg files into a Zip file and upload it to somewhere like Dropbox or OneDrive. Then just share the link here.

I can make it into a zip file, but I dont know about onedrive or dropbox. Haha. I cant send private messages because it says im too new to "the blueline", but maybe I could email it to you and you could post the link?

The jbo one was available from Steam, and thats hoe I found it, then I used to editor to update it. Ive played through full seasons without any issues. I dont have a clue how to pass it along to the person who got it posted on Steam. I figured maybe they could use it to update the one that is there now.
