Okay...more Canucks
Canucks sign Brad Moran, Greg Classen and Jason Jaffray
No $ mentioned for these. All are 2 way contracts, NHL minimum $457K I believe, for 1 year. From the radio when I heard the announcements, so there ya go. None of them are eligible for waivers.
They also have Patrick Coulombe on the same kind of contract for one more season...2007-08 real life, 2006-07 in EHM.
Jaffray and Coulombe are with the Moose. Classen is listed with the Hamburg Freezers, and Moran is listed as an RFA for Vancouver...he is not really a prospect.
OK forget about Moran...he is an unsigned prospect in the Orignal DBase from SI. Oops. A 27 year old...ugh. So leave him there
DONE Moran & Classen. Moran is 27 so bringing him into the NHL in 2006 won't really harm any development.
Haven't done Jaffray and Coulombe. Not sure what to do about them. I'd put them in the same boat as prospects in that they're still young and arguably need that extra year in the juniors to properly develop. What do you think?
With Jaffray and Coulombe both have played 2 years in the minors in real life, so I don't see what the harm would be. Plus honestly, neither of them is really going to develop that much.
