So are you saying if somebody dumped a Canadian team into the extraliga it would have a max on four non-canadian players?

I haven't had time to look, but what have you put in the Swedish League? Also, I wonder have you changed league reputations?

Hi Alessandro, I'm guessing you're the one from international hockey forums and eurohockey.net as well. In that case, I am Nightmare from International hockey forums. But back to the topic.
You were talking here about increasing or decreasing the reputation of some leagues(SEL, SML), the thing is that, though i have tried it in many ways with many editors and on different databases, the changes I make in reputation, be it for competitions, national teams or club competition, they don't seem to take effect. I have noticed that the default reputation for the SEL is 14 and for RSL is 13, and I for one think that the RSL should at least be at 15, tried to change that, and wouldn't work. Any advice from anyone?
P.S.:at level 20, for example, the same players would be interested to sign with Avangard(one of the teams I played with), an Avangard with 9999 reputation, as when they values were those in the original database.

To be honest, all worked well for me.
Have u tried this db or the UUDB?

Your modified DB is rather interesting, but i would not know where to find the original UUDB. I am using the TBL DB 1.5. I will have to try again, i guess.
Question:If I have a club of 9999 reputation from a league of 20 rep, should players like Forsberg be interested in signing with me? It sure seems that way to me.

I'm thinking that it might be my game that behaves wildly...Finances are not corresponding to the values that i read from the editor(curiousely, when starting with Avangard I had a 35 mil player budget, more then it was set to be, and a balance of 2,5 mil) while the rest of the things were the same. Only thing that works well every time is correcting the salary cap. With the 19 rep of the RSL and the 8250 of Avangard i think i should have a fair chance of signing a player like Alexei Semenov. I went and checked the rest of the teams, and none had the value input into the DB thorugh the editor(I'm guessing by you). AK Bars, for example, should have had 55 mil balance and 40 mil salary budget, but that was once again not the case. It's so ******** frustrating.
Thanks for the link Alessandro.

The problem is t hat the finances are only in part database-driven.
They are also coded, and we can do nothing to fix this part...
