So who is going to the tournament at the end of the month? I'm going to the game with my bro, Andyjap and his girlfriend.
I can't wait! I haven't been to a hockey game since about March.

Dallas Eakins hated to take the wind out of the bagpipes.
But the Toronto Marlies coach reminded his players that this week's trip to Scotland isn't about visiting castles, trying some haggis or bringing back duty free malt whiskey for relatives.
"We're still in training camp," Eakins warned yesterday as 24 Marlies prepared to fly to Edinburgh tonight. "It's a place that we might never go again in our lives, a chance afforded us by our management and the government of Scotland. But as much as we want to enjoy ourselves, this is an all-business trip."
The Leafs and AHL rival Hamilton Bulldogs were invited to play the Edinburgh Capitals and the Belfast Giants at the Edinburgh Hockey Festival, one of the events the host country is staging for the 250th birthday of poet Robbie Burns.
"It's certainly going to be a unique life experience," Marlies general manager Jeff Jackson said of the six-day visit. "We'll be doing some public practices, too. We play the Bulldogs once and probably be meeting them in the final."
It was expected forwards Andre Deveaux, Ben Ondrus, Alex Foster and Ryan Hamilton will clear NHL waivers by noon today and make the trip. Foster actually has some Scottish blood.
"I'm kind of a mutt; French Canadian-Scottish on my Dad's side and Italian-Ukrainian on my mother's," Foster said. "But I've never been to Europe, so I'm pretty excited."
The roster for the visit includes goalie James Reimer, Andrew Engelage and Beau Erickson; defencemen Brennan Evans, Josh Engel, Todd Perry, Phil Oreskovic, Joel Ryan, Eric Werner, Tom Galvin and Juraj Mikus; forwards Foster, Ondrus, Deveaux, Hamilton, Darryl Boyce, Mikhail Stefanovich, Dale Mitchell, Stefano Giliati, Kyle Rogers, Robert Slaney, Richard Greenop, Alex Berry, Greg Scott and John Kurtz, if he's cleared from a concussion.
"We go off whatever Ron Wilson wants us to the first week of Leaf camp, but now it's nice to get our own guys going," Eakins said.

These seem interesting to me
HAM: PK Subban, Dany Massé, Mikael Johansson, Robert Mayer(goalie)
TOR: Mikhail Stefanovich, Ryan Hamilton, Dale Mitchell
Both teams have their share of tough guys as well
HAM: Eric Neilson, Andrew Conboy
TOR: Richard Greenop, Phil Oreskovic, Andre Deveaux

Thanks for the heads up, Manimal. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for them.
Andy - are you going up for the Friday game too?
I'm really looking forward to this! It reminds me of counting down the days to the NHL game in London two years ago.

the Detroit Red Wings come to town on Sep. 30th, but I'm not going. I don't think it's worth the money(I'm unemployed at the moment) and that type of games rarely is any good. They are playing an exhibition game versus Färjestad

Watching the webcast of the exhibition match currently. Bulldogs look strong, Marlies struggling to get out of their zone. One little scuffle so far after a boarding call and a few nice open ice hits. Currently 0-0 in the first

0-0 end of first, not so many clear cut chances but Bulldogs definitely on top.
One powerplay each; Bulldogs didn't really get theirs going until the last 30 seconds where they had a few shots from the wing, Marlies never got theirs going at all really.
Marlies netminder has looked pretty comfortable with everything he's faced, Bulldogs netminder hasn't had a lot to do.

0-0 in the second, it's opened up a bit more. Both teams missed 3-on-1s, firstly Marlies get one which is well broken up by the d-man resulting in the Bulldogs getting a 3-on-1 which was well saved by the Marlies netty.
Bulldogs hit the post after some good forecheck and Marlies somehow missed a 2-on-1, not sure if it was a save or just a missed shot. Marlies looking better in the second though. Bulldogs changed their netminder after 30 mins

End of second 0-0, good save by the Marlies netminder right at the end.
