And Hensel...out of curiosity do you travel the world and watch all these guys live? Cause it appears you are an expert on Swedish, Finnish, WHL, QMJHL, OHL, NCAA, and all prospects since you seem to know where guys fit in from all over the world. I know one thing...until I have seen a guy play myself 5 times, I don't try and rank everyone.
If you do this, that is great. I wish I could. Not saying Pulkinnen is not worthy of your accolades, just saying I have not seen enough of him nor the 30 comparison points in the rankings at this time to say who he should be above.

This brings me to my next thought...maybe he is not ranked because scouts feel through watching him and GMs feel through interviewing him and watching him that he will not develop better than anyone else on that list. Again...people have been wrong..but the GREAT majority of the time the rankings are pretty good.

And i probably have watched more junior hockey than you given the fact I have buddies on lots of junior teams (Including Teemu) and there is no pro team in my area but lots of junior teams. If you want to put words in my mouth with your childish arguments PM me, ill be glad to help you out

I really don't follow the junior league and my knowledge for the top prospect is very poor.

Normally i update myself by watching the World Junior Championship....but i just want to know a little bit about Taylor Hall. I've heard this name in the 09 draft about him but i really didn't heard of him since. This guy is compare to what player? His he got THAT big of a potential??

To make sure that Batdat doesnt throw a fit i'll say I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM PLAY LIVE however his play in the Memorial Cup was un-real, leading scorer and tournament MVP. However, I do not think he will as valuable as any of the first overall picks since 2001 with the exception of Fleury and Erik Johnson.

Ok thank you for the update Hensel, so he doesn't have the potential of a Crosby or Ovechkin but he will be good for sure. But honestly Fleury is becoming a really good goalie and in a couple of years he's gonna bein the top 5 for sure and Erik Johnson, if it wasn't for is injury for starting is career this guy got a big potential.

Seen Hall 3 times. At this point...I would say he is a good player. What I mean is he will fit in nicely on a strong team as a 2nd line center down the road and on a weak team as a top liner. He is a bit of a tweener...one who distrubutes okay, and one who scores ok. 40-40 kind of guy when he hits his prime. Maybe can score a little higher than that, but in this day and age of hockey that is pretty dang good.

I've been hearing lots of chatter (from a vocal minority) on the Bruins board over at HFboards that if the Bruins do land the top pick in the draft, Cam Fowler might be the wise choice. Any opinions on him?

I'm not a NA hockey expert, but from what I saw in last year's WJC U18 he's a very good player, good offensive instincts, good shot, a bonafide top 5 pick imho

He may be the "Safe" pick. But the others could develop into players so far above him that it could be a real problem to take him 1st. But if Toronto *yeah right* somehow gets out of the bottom 2 it would be the obvious choice.

As for COnnolly...he is one hell of a player as well. And he is raw. Get him in the right situation for coaches and wow watch out.

So after Toews or Booth damages in NHL there is another one in OHL: Liambus hit on Fanelli.

From Kitchener's site:

The Kitchener Rangers organization would like to provide an update on the condition of Ben Fanelli who was injured during the Rangers game on Friday, October 30th against the Erie Otters.

Ben was conscious and transported to Grand River Hospital then immediately air lifted to Hamilton General Hospital.

As of early this morning he is in intensive care and listed in critical but stable condition.

He suffered a head injury which included skull and facial fractures and a laceration above the eye that was the cause of blood loss.

"Ben's parents and family experienced something that we all wish would never happen", said Chief Operating Officer of the Kitchener Rangers, Steve Bienkowski.

"Their focus and concern for their son needs to be respected. I can't stress enough the need to respect their privacy and that all media inquires and announcements will be made through the Rangers organization. Our immediate focus will be to assist the Fanelli family and our players as we all deal with Ben's injuries."

The Rangers organization and the Fanelli family would like to thank the teams, families and fans for their support of Ben.

OHL's suspended Liambus for the rest of the season, including playoffs. And I must say I'm rather happy with the verdict, that hit was definitely foul play from Liambus.

I really like how the OHL react with this ''accident''. The entire season suspended now that's what i'm talking about! This idiot of 16 years old will think twice of what he will do now. I really wish one day we're gonna see something like this in the NHL, but i don't think it's about to happen though.....

This suspension definitely send a message to the rest of the players in the league that this sort of thing will not be tolerated. I'd love to see some messages sent in the NHL but somebody would have to die for them to react this strongly.

I'm sorry i don't want to insult somebody but 75% of the comments on Youtube are made by stupid people. I'm sure that a part of all the comments only a few really follow or know hockey. So it's not a big reference....

I can't understand how people can say that was a clean hit.

I'm sick of people who says things like this: "he was gliding and his arm accidently did come up, it was clean", accidently?! No way, the only thing that was "clean" was that it was a clean elbow to the head and the suspension wasn't too big. Hits like this shouldn't be in hockey.

I hope that Fanelli recovers well and my thoughts is with his family!

To be entirely honest, I'd like to see athletes expelled from leagues for plays like this.

Liambas clearly came in from at least the blue line with full intention of destroying Fanelli - never once looking for the puck the whole way in. Going beyond sport in that manner is borderline criminal, and in my opinion, it should waive his right to further participate in the game.

If you want to play rough, then go ahead - this is hockey. But I think if you want to ignore the game for the sake of injuring someone, then your time is up.

The season-long ban is good, but it needs to be more.
