Since there is such a request for the scout utility, I uploaded it on mediafire. I am not the creator of the product hence can't provide any support in case you need it. Here's the download:

Enjoy

Thanks so much man it works like a charm.

I downloaded this quite a while ago and then never actually tried it.
I just did. Awfully nice program. I think I find it fascinating for the wrong reasons though. Not sure I want to "scout" this way (the way having to use PlayerScout to remain competitive in freeware leagues ruined the freeware EHM for me in many ways).
It is a great way to actually see a good snapshot of what exactly *is* in any given savegame though. If for some reason you think your player pool is weak, a quick run of this will tell you whether it's true or not.
I just wish the "NHL Right and CHL Rights fields were included.

Too bad the attributes are messed up, I'd like to know how to solve this.

What's messed-up with the Attribs? They look fine to me.

The attributes in the save games are relative attributes, meaning they're on a different scale than 1-20.

Ahh I see what you're saying, kinda'. I never bother to look at the actual attribs beyond things like Determination, Loyalty, etc...

Yeah, I'd be interested if anyone knew a formula to convert these to the normal scale.

You should ask Riz about that.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I've been looking for ehm 2007 genie scout everywhere, with no success. If anyone still has this utility, could you please upload it or email it to me?
Thanks.

It's a "comput scout program". It lets you see all players in game. Then you could sort by current ability, potensial ability, age, position and so on. A nice program to find all superstars if you are into that, or find a couple of older hidden gems who could fit into your team?

Based on the descriptions above, I think the EHM Updater can do the same thing and a lot more
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... it=updater
Not only can you view most things in a saved game, you can edit them too!
With the Updater, like the Genie Scout, some of the Attributes are in the "relative scale" (and you can't edit them)
