The two versions are made by different teams of people.

This is also the first version of EA Sports NHL games on the 360 so they had to make 07 from scratch.

The controls are strange for the first 2 games or so but now they are to the point where they are just second nature to me.

I love this game... until EHM 2007... :-D

I'm sure the 360 version is pretty good and refreshing going from current gen to next gen. But for people that dont have 360, take me for example, the best thing to do is read the review on major game review websites and then decide whether to buy it or not yourself. From what I've heard, NHL 07 is like a NHL 06.1. :thdn:

I will probably get this when it comes out for the xbox 360. Got the demo and even though it was only a shootout it looks brilliant.

How is the Dinasty Mode???

I really hope that they improved it (as they said), because lately the EA Sports NHL dinasty was absolutely rubbish!!! And its about the only mode I play...

Mark, the game has been out for 4 or 5 days now.

As for the Dynasty on the 360, it's the same as 06 except with minor league teams and a fluctuating salary cap.

You sure?? This is what confused me the other day. I was sure I saw that the game came out in the UK on the 22nd of September, but the other day I saw two cases in Game. So this confused to me to wether it was out or not so I looked on net at home and it still says the 22nd. :dunno:

Could you please tell me about the game please?? What version do you have it for?? PS2?? If so could you pease tell me if we can use EIHL teams?? As I would like to use Nottingham Panthers. Also what can we use them in?? Just freindlies or what??

I don't think these are in the 360 version going by what you said before.

Just conferming you see so i know more about which version I would rather get it for either 360 or ps2.

I still haven't got around to picking up the PC version, maybe tonight. I'll be sure to give an update on all the playable leagues when I do though.

I've heard that you can play Dynasty Mode with the European leagues that's included.

From what I can tell, the new league to be added this year was the Czech League. I don't know what other leagues are included. :dunno:

Here in Sweden used to be DEL(Germany), SM-Liiga(Finliand) and Elitserien(sweden).

NHL 2k7 for the XBox sounds like 2k6 but with a roster update. It really doesn't seem worth buying if you already have 2k6. The only improvements in 2k7 are a new camera angle, updated rosters and defensive pressure control (as well as some minor gameplay tweaks). Just like NHL 07, if you want a new NHL game, you're best off getting a next gen version of 2k7 - the developers appear to have reached the limits of the XBox.

So will the brittish teams be in the game?? this is what i want to know. if not I will probably get it for the Xbox 360 version.

People got updates on this yet hehe or you still not bought it??

I might trade in 2 games tomorrow for the 360 version and if I despretly want Brittish teams after trade the 360 one in for the ps2 version.

As was asking around all computer shops today and 2 of them had no clue and the other one had none really but said it probably will be same as PS2 version but better graphics.

As far as I know, the main difference between the 360 version and the PS2 version is that the 360 version has better graphics and much improved gameplay.

Also, the 360 version does not include the Czech League whereas the other versions do.

The UK Elite League is not in NHL 07. However, it's hoped that it will be in NHL 08.

Cheers. You have made my mind up. I am not really botherd about the other European teams. Will get it for the 360 version then. The only reason i would of got it for ps2 would of been for the UK Elite league but not botherd now.

I also hope they include it in NHL 08.

I got this at 9:10 this morning and I must say I think it is brilliant.

I find the Skill stick a bit hard. Don't want to revert to classic though as would love to learn the new controlls.

Dynasty Mode looka ausome (not had a proper go yet), I aso like being able to simulate the games as I simulated a season this morning. Lost in the Playoffs though after finishing 5th in the league.

Looks brilliant though overall.
