I've got an issue with the Updater.
I'm trying to import player attribute information into the database, but I keep getting players that get the error "NO MATCHING PLAYER".
The thing is that I have checked the information (first, last and dob) in the pre-game editor so it is correct, but still it can't find the player. I've even exported a file, copied the information from it to my import file and still it claims it can't find the player. Looking through the error file, I seem to get this with every Swedish that inclued an å,ä or ö.
For example: Anders Lindbäck (3,5,1988)
I tried to change it to Lindback to see if that helped, but the updater couldn't find him then either.
I'm at my wits end here, guys. What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you have the day and month in the correct cells?
Have you tried both .csv and.xml formats?

Yes, the data is in the correct cells.
Looking through the file it seems that every single player with a letter outside a-z has failed.
I haven't tried .xml format as I don't have any program that can edit it. I guess that'll be the next thing to try if nobody has any other ideas.

For save from EHM:EA use EHM: Assistant.

After factory resetting my computer I now downloaded the EHM updater again. Well I started it and noted me that "msvcp120" & "msvcr120" were missing. So I download them and run the updater for the third time. Now it just gives me an error "0xc000007b" and it can't be opened. (Running Windows 8)
What do I do now?

Did you install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable? This needs to be installed in order for the Updater to run. You can download it here:

Thanks! I got it to work.

I first tried x64 but not luck. But somehow x86 worked for me..

I think it's because the Updater is an x86 application.

Hi. I dunno if this is already answered somewhere. But can someone give me instructions (if it is possible) how to export my own team (Toronto atm) to .csv without getting the whole database or all the players that exists? I just want an export of my own team but I have no idea what im doing wrong. I use the latest version, got the vcredist installed and I managed to edit some weight on a player that I wanted to do also but the exporting player part just doesn't work for me.. I wish I could use both EHM EA assistant but now that the game is updated I cant use the assistant anymore. Any help is appreciated.

There is no way to export the data for just a single team (you can delete all but a single team from the exported data in just a few minutes though)

Would be cool to have players sorted by countries in an editor(exported to Excel) alongside attributes and CA/PA. If there is a way please let me know.

Is there any quick way using this, to remove the accents on names, as I prefer them to not be in the game?

No quick way....you could export to excel, sort by names that contain each accent/character individually, change each accent/character individually, import names
But then I suspect the names created by the game will contain the accents/characters.....so in addition to the editing above you'd need to select not to add any players/staff to your game (a retro roster feature).....and then the only concern you'd have is regens

There's not really an easy way of doing this. You could export all staff data to Excel, remove the accents in Excel (somehow - perhaps using a Visual Basic addon) and then re-import the staff data via staff_new, attribute_update and nonplayer_update. But you would lose a lot of other data (such as clubs' favourite staff) and also it wouldn't stop regens from having accented names.
I will add it to my to-do list for the next version of the EHM Editor (no ETA though right now). It would be simple to add a function to strip accents from name data (for an EHM 2007 DB at least).

You could use the "Replace" tool of Excel to replace all instances of one character, then moving on to the next one.

Ok, I didn't think there was a quick way. Thanks for the information and potential of having that option in the future!
Thank you to Nino and A9L3E as well!

I want to confirm it's not possible to change a non player staff from a team to another or to another type of job using the contract_update spreadsheet or any other spreadsheet. If true, is the only way to make such changes is to retire the non player and ''recreate'' it using the staff_new spreadsheet ?
Also, can the staff_awards_update and staff_history_update spreadsheets be used to update the past end of season player's trophies and past players stats respectively ?
thks !
