Good job Tampa! I'm happy to see those young guys in the Stanley Cup final! Rangers did not played a really good game honestly but Lundqvist, darn, I watched the second period and he was on f-i-r-e. can't blame the guy that's for sure.

I sorta was OK with the idea of the Rangers beating the Lightning because the Rangers are an "original 6 team" and Tampa Bay isn't really "hockey country" - but I found the Rangers really boring to watch play, while the Lightning weren't, so I was OK with Tampa Bay's win...

I'm hoping Chicago beats the Ducks, not just because Chicago's an original 6 team, but like the Lightning I like the way the Blackhawks play (but also because Anaheim's not really "hockey country" either)

1-0 Chicago...so far, so good :-)

No it wasn't, why would it have been? :bs: It would've been nice if the Ducks had played the first two periods of the last two games too. Now they played their worst two games of the series in the end and managed to lose that 3-2 lead yet again, unbelievable. Why is it so hard for them to end the series? I'm so freaking disappointed... :mambo:

Ah well, being a sharks supporter, I can tell you it could be worse :-D

Great game by Chicago, I really don't regret waking up at night for watching it, I've rarely seen such a good display of Ice Hockey tis year as Chicago's 1st period..

Now to the cup !

I've read somewhere that Boudreau lost a game 7 or a 3-2 serie lead for the sixth time in the last 8 years. Can't remember what it was precisely but it strangely sounds like the same thing Batdad is saying about AV. :D

Nah Boudreau has no pres trophies. He is just a weak impression of Vigneault. He has won a bunch of division titles though. :-D

Mtl signed Petry to a 6 years deal worth 33 millions. Not a bad deal IMO. A little bit high but it's how it is right now. He did a good job so far and Mtl was lacking a decent 3rd-4th d-man.

$5.5m is a little bit high but considering how the market is for good two-way D-men it's okey, especially since he's a RHD.

Teräväinen still doesn't get any ice-time but somehow managed to get Chicago their win today. :-D

Teräväinen became second youngest multiple point scorer in the Stanley Cup final (behind Jagr :-D).

How do you call a player Mini Patrick Kane? Teravainnnnenenenenen or however you spell it is something else. He is going to turn into yet another stud for this team, and this team will not miss a beat as they move out SHarp and what one or two others after the season to afford the Toews-Kane extension. D-Y-N-A-S-T-Y.

They are special. Tampa may yet be special, but not there yet. Chicago is special now and for at least another 3 years.

Just so you know Terävä means Sharp in Finnish. :-D

Stats go too far nowadays. Next it will be...rookies with a shot in the first 30 seconds of a period following a veteran scoring a goal in the last 30 seconds of the previous period which was assisted by a goalie and a guy acquired at the trade deadline for a 4th round pick, who was a pending UFA but re-signed for exactly 1 million,1thousand,1hundred and one dollars and 93 cents per year with a cap hit of 15 cents less than that.
