"Jiri Hudler allegedly demanded cocaine on a Delta Airlines from New York to Prague according to Swedish tabloid Expressen and Czech tabloid Blesk.
According to the fight attendant, when his request was refused, Hudler threatened to call his friends upon landing and get them to kill the flight attendant. He then went to the bathroom, came back with white powder on his lips and tried to urinate on a food cart."
A recurring meme of sorts since his playing days in Detroit was that he was a partier who liked substances and women. I don't know if the above is true or not, I just know that it would not surprise me at all if it was.

From what I've read in the comments of this article, a couple of Wings fans were saying they were happy he wasn't a part of the team anymore. :D

Wednesday means DOPS day in the UK EIHL. Interesting incident last weekend that has everyone up in arms over the lengths of suspensions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJYrnGKveVU and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ho0Gf-YgjI

That's weird. I know absolutely nothing about Goulakos, but Fretter to my knowledge has never been the kind of guy to lose it or go berserk, all the way back to his time playing in college.

And the Kicking infraction is warranted on Goulakos. That was just dumb. I don't know what he'd be thinking there.

'I'd say those suspensions make a lot of sense, save that maybe Goulakos should get more than 1 game for the check from behind, but it didn't seem to be a particularly bad one IMO.

The ban got passed on to a throw party (former NHL linesman and his player safety committee) after a lot of players (current and former) complained and a few articles appeared in the UK and NA. They ruled differently : http://pointstreaksites.com/view/elitei ... ews_494906

I, personally, completely agree with the new ruling and I was surprised by the original ruling, where the player who only defended himself was suspended for more games, then a player who violently attacked him from behind and it's good to know that a person who was in charged of original decision is removed from his position too!

I just read a news that Melinda Karlsson, Erik's wife, is filling a prosecution against Hoffman's girlfriend for harassment. It seems that Monika, the girlfriend, is harassing the couple since last november and since the couple lost their baby back in march she even send death threats to them via social networks with multiple accounts. Hoffman doesn't have anything to do with that but I wonder how the mood is between him and Erik. :-k

Apparently Hoffman has sided with her girlfriend. Hard to say how this will play out. Something tells me that the Karlssons wouldn't say anything in public without facts :dunno:
